HAVE YOU EVER FELT THAT LIFE'S UNFAIR, CUZ EVERYBODY HATES YOU, NO ONE CARES-
Honestly, this is the most tame book I've ever written. By tame, I mean that this is the first book I wrote without automatically jumping onto a Final chapter for when I end it.You groaned as you heard your alarm clock on your phone going off. Reaching your hand out to turn it off, it didn't quite make it when someone bursted through your door.
" WHERE'S THAT CLOCK HEADED MOTHER FUCKER- Oh."
You jumped up as Cassidy rubbed her eyes, in her other hand was a pistol. " Cassidy, what the hell?! Where you gonna shoot my tongue out the back of my brain?!" ( I hope someone will get that song reference I slipped in, even if I didn't get it completely right) " No, because I would need a shotgun to do that. Sorry. I thought your alarm sounded like this clock headed freak me and the guys had to deal with a few months back." Your finger swiped Off on your alarm you had set on our phone, making the sound stop. " Did you kill him?" Robin asked, making Cassidy turned to where his voice came from. " No, it was just Y/n's alarm." Cassidy walked off, closing your door behind her. She had kicked a hole in your door, it was small, but noticeable.
You clicked your tongue and stood up, turning on the blue Lamp by pushing the red button in the center of it.
~•~You walked down stairs with your bookbag over your shoulder. You walked into the kitchen to grab some coffee while Cassidy, Harry, and Robin where sitting at the table drinking their coffee while Harry counted some money. " What are you guys doing?" " Paying the bills. It's not gonna do crap since we're legitimately in a purgatory and everyday is father's day." You cocked your head to the side. " What? Today is Fri..." You turned around to see a calendar thing on the wall and scoffed. " You guys are dum-dums. Look." You ripped off the ' June 19' paper, only to find another one just like it underneath. " What the..." You ripped of that one, to find another one.
You shook your head and backed up. " Whatever, I'm just gonna grab some coffee at the Cafeteria when I get to the College. I'm not dealing with this Hocus Pocus today." " Okay, but it won't change a thing-" " CASSIDY!!"
~•~Your fingers flew across the screen, rapidly trying to text your dad, but every text message you sent had a red triangle next to it, showing that there was a problem while sending it. You groaned and set your phone on the Cafeteria table and bit into the muffin you had grabbed while getting your coffee. " Hi Y/n." You friend, Heather, greeted you while she sat down beside you with a muffin in her hand.( Heather is just a character I made up) " Hi Heather." " Whatcha doing?" You sighed and picked your phone back up. " I'm trying to text my dad, I haven't heard from him in two weeks. " Two weeks? But didn't you just move here?" Heather asked, confused. You laughed and shook your head. " Well, I had to live on a train for two weeks and then I had to stay on a bus for a whole day. This town and my town are really far apart." Heather hummed in response. " Hey, wanna hang out in the computer lab for a while before classes start? None of the teachers are in it yet." You shrugged and stood up. " Sure. Sounds like fun."
~ AFFTTEERRR SCHOOOOLLLL~
(Also, if you want to change Heather's name, you can)You opened the front door and heard what seemed to be a movie playing in the living room. You walked into the room to see Cassidy, sitting on the couch with her feet propped up on the coffee table, watching TV. " Hey Y/n." She greeted, not looking away from the brightly colored animals on screen. " Hi. What are you watching?" You asked, taking a seat next to her. " The Care Bear movie..." Cassidy yawned and you rolled your eyes, taking your laptop out and starting on an Essay you had to write. " I expected you would be more into Maury or Jerry Springer." " I am. I'm also into Ellen and Dr. Phil. If I wanna watch Care Bears, I'll watch it. If I wanna watch Sesame Street, fuck it, I'll watch it. If I wanna watch Fraggle Rock, I will watch it. Free country bitch!"
" Cassidy, watch your mouth!" Robin yelled at her from the kitchen. You rolled your eyes again and continued typing the essay. You looked at the date. Wednesday, June 19. This made you uncomfortable. " Y/N!!" You where caught off guard when Manny ran in and hugged you from over the arm of the couch. " Ah! Hey Manny! You kinda scared me there for a second." " Haha, sorry. Wanna do a puzzle?" The blue haired boy asked cutely. " I betcha the author almost died again..." Cassidy muttered under her breath, but no one heard her except you people who are reading this story. You looked back at your computer and back at the boy who had asked you the question. You smiled and closed your laptop, standing up. " That sounds like fun." You considered 'why not' since everyday was the same day. Manny clapped his hands again, grabbed your hand, and led you upstairs. He pulled you to the green door, but he only opened it a little, peeking in before opening it all the way. You both walked into his room. Manny's room had a childish charm to it, but one thing stood out to you for some reason. It was a picture frame of him and some other guy on top of a book of some sort.
" That's my dad!" Manny said, running to grab the frames picture and held it up so you could see. His dad looked..... His dad looked..... Ohhhhhh boy, you know someones messed up when even the author can't describe them. I mean, just imagine Roy as a human!! ' Author... We're losing track here!' You thought inside your mind. Okay, okay, imma stop now. " Your dad looks like a great Father, Manny." That was a damn lie. ' Author, I swear to GOD!'
~•~" Hurry up Y/n! I wanna get started on the next one!" " I'm trying, I just can't see where this last piece goes!" You joked. Manny groaned and pointed to the last open space. " It goes right there!" You turned the puzzle piece the wrong way and tried to put it in that way. " It won't fit!" You whined. (Reader, you kinky shit) Manny laughed and took the piece from you, putting it in the right way. " There, finished. I did a great job!" " You couldn't even put the last piece in!" Manny shoved you a little, making you laugh a little. Your eyes just so happened to glanced to Manny's bedside table and noticed that the picture of him and his dad was pushed down, face down, when you where sure Manny had put it back the way it was.
This place was starting to freak you out.
_____________________________Okay, new rules for this book: I update every Tuesday, or during the weekend if I feel like it. If you go to my Bio or my conversations wall, I put my Book Update Schedule on both of those things.
I was honestly stuck writing the part where the reader was at the College, because I have no clue on how College works, so I used inspiration from a hotel I went to instead for some reason.
Idk why tho.I also don't know why Me, the Reader, and Cassidy broke the fourth wall so much in this chapter.
