(nov 16)

the grass glades feels greener when sunset boy lays beside me as our lightweight legs run through parks and parking lots with muddy puddles while our lungs decay before us and we sniff strawberries to contain our bellies from erupting. we overheat from the crimson sun from what we fabricated and how has this blue faced generation become as morbid as the one before?

we need the ponderous rain more than ever but visions of clouds turn into ashes of smoke and we cry for the raindrops to come to put out the phoenix fires that's devouring our manmade cities. you all think it's cool that we're dying because of the cultural angst that runs in our veins. but as earth weeps, all of us that live upon it, weeps with it.

nevermind that, open up your eyes! it ain't as cruel as it seems but our slow planet is in moribund, if you still haven't noticed. so we better get our heads back down to earth or pack up your shit and see you in mars.
