"So tell me how are the preparations going for the ceremony" Uncle Mika asks when he walks into the living where my mother and I are sitting in
"We are discussing the details now Mika." My mother responds
"But you do know what you must do correct?" Mika asks looking at me
"Of course I do we have gone over this millions of times." I respond irritated.
It's been almost two full days of him reminding me of what needs to be done. I know the ceremony from start to finish. I walk in completely cloaked in black. I will have Camila on one side and Normani on the other. It would have normally been my parents, however, I decided that the new generation should be my representation of hybrid and witch. I will receive the blessings from all regions, then for the head sorcerer and then the hybrid-Royal, meaning Mika. After that occurs I must drink the one thing I haven't drank in ages, human Blood. Once that occurs the blood moon of that night should begin the final process.
If this were just a regular witch ascension no blood would be needed at all, however since the hybrid aspect is included it must be done. Mika said that we had to change the location of the ceremony yet has not told me where. He has also started to train Camila while I am in here with my mother practicing the main points of this ceremony. Like the first words I speak after or my posture and also how I should remain focused.
"Well go over it a million times more. We can not afford for anything to go wrong" Mika warns
"The only thing that could go wrong is if some fuckers out there find out. So if you have this secured the way you say you do then we should have no problem" I argue
"Remember who you are talking to little girl" Mika threatens
"Yeah, well you also remember who you are talking to" I threaten back with a slight growl and by the way he steps back I know he sees my eyes change color.
"Fair enough. I will be back later I need to make final arrangements" Mika says walking out of the living room
"Lauren" My mother says
"I am sorry" I states letting out a sigh to calm down. "My I please have a break?" I request and my mother nods.
As I head towards the kitchen to get some water, I continue to think of what is to come. I know I am ready to become a full tri-brid I have been ready for it since I was 18, What worries me is how it could affect Camila. She is still learning and even though I help her Here and there, once I ascend things will change. I guess the best part is that we are marked for each other meaning it can't go away but I'm still worried that once she sees the full power I have she will get scared and run.
"Hey you" I here and turn around to see brown eyes looking back at me
"I thought you were reading" I states looking at her
"Well I was until I needed a break" The younger girl states
"Oh really a break" I question
"Yes a break" she says walking closer towards me
"That's odd since you decide to take a break at the same time I do" I respond with a smirk
"Well great minds think alike" She says placing her arms around my neck as I place mine on her hips
