Ascension

She had walked into the shack just like Hayley had told her to. It was odd, in a why she has never seen this place but it felt familiar like she had been here all her life. It was also calming and she had a feeling that things would work out just like Hayley had told her. She looked at all the furniture in there and every corner in awe of what was in front of her. 

"That's my favorite picture" Someone says from behind her 

"Don't worry it felt the same when this happened to me at the age of 15. I thought I died and left my entire family behind. At that time though I just wanted to be with my mom. But I'm glad she sent me back, because then you, your mom, or your grandmother wouldn't have existed" The person says standing next to the girl. 

"What, what about Mika?" Lauren asks 

"Mika, is a special case. He wasn't my son by birth Lauren. Mika was a baby that was abandoned by his real mother. A werewolf that Landon had gotten involved with." 

"If that is true, then how is Camila a Mikaelson?" Lauren asks 

"She is a Mikaelson because she has my blood running through her veins." 

"Grandmother Hope, how is that possible?" Lauren questions 

"Camila's Biological mother was a wolf that asked me to convert her into a hybrid. At the time I had done that, I had no idea that she would be the one to end up with Mika. When she became pregnant with Camila, I knew that the blood I used to convert her would pass on to the baby." Hope explains 

"Meaning?" Lauren asks 

"Meaning your only true link to Camila is that mark you have on your shoulder. Camila is only a Mikaelson by being the daughter of one of my sired wolves" Hope answers

Those were the last words she remembered before coming back to her senses. Camila was not a blood related relative or even a blood born Mikaelson, but she was still Family, just like Mika. 

"Lauren, are you okay?" Her mother asks holding the girl's face in her hands 

"I'm fine mom. What time is it?" Lauren asks 

"15 minutes until the Ceremony" Mika answers 

"And Camila?" Lauren questions 

"I'm right here" The younger girl answers from her spot next to Lauren's father. 

"Get everyone to the location" Lauren states 

"Wait Lauren are you sure about this you have been unconscious for almost 5 hours" Her mother says 

"Tonight is ascension night and I am going through with it. Now get everyone there. Camila You will ride with Jeremy and Tyler. Mother, you and father will leave with Mika. I will make sure to be there in time." Lauren says standing up. 

"The full moon hits it's peak in 10 minutes it would be impossible to get to the location in time." Micheal states 

"Just do it" Lauren orders then heads to her room.

"Everyone Is here and waiting. We are cutting it a bit close aren't we?" Normani asks When she sees Jeremy and Tylor walk into the clearing at Camila's side. 

"Trust us we know but the main this is to make sure everything is in place" Jeremy states 

"Everything is ready but we are kind of missing the main thing. Lauren" Normani replies
