Normal POV

"What are we supposed to do with him, Batman? We can't keep him sedated forever." Flash said as the Justice League discussed what to do with their 'new guest'.

"But it does not seem like he's going to cooperate with us." Wonder Woman added. It was a problem. The boy was immune to bat glares and was quite the little fighter. Even when sedated and loopy he was smart.

"We can only try again," Batman said. What else could they do? They currently had him in an interrogation room with a rolling medical bed inside. He was locked to the bed in many many ways and kept asleep when not being questioned.

"Maybe we could try the kids," Flash said as the idea popped in his head. Everyone looked at him quizzically. "Just hear me out. We've tried, what 3 time? And he hasn't told us anything. What if people his age know how to get inside his head?"

All the heroes looked at the speedster in awe. "Barry where was that idea two days ago!" Green Arrow said. It was a good idea, and it may just work.

"You want us to do what?" Artemis said with her eyebrow raised. Flash had been the one to tell the team about their new mission. And they had not taken it easily.

"He won't answer any of our questions. He barely even speaks to us! So what if it's because we're adults. What if you guys can get inside his head better than we can! He may talk to you guys." Flash explained, hoping his plan made sense.

"Are you sure it's the best idea for us to go in, he nearly killed us!" Wally exclaimed.

"We'll be watching from right behind the glass. So you have nothing to worry about." The older speedster reassured.

"It may work my friends," Kaldur said through the mind-link.

"Yah but what if he escapes again, he did it before." Wally countered.

"They put more restraints on him," M'gann added, it was true. The assassin had somehow escaped from the restraints Flash had put on him from the first time he slipped out of his cuffs. He had more restraints than someone affected by Bane's Venom now.

"Well then it's settled. We will go and speak to the boy." Kaldur said.

"Alright Flash, we'll do it." Artemis said. Flash smiled.

"Ok then let's go."

Team's POV

"Ok so all you have to do is press this button and he should wake up in a minute or so. A few other leaguers and I will be behind the glass just in case." Flash reassured.

"Ok, we got this," Wally said as he exhaled his anxiousness. All of the young heroes were in costume, some had masks over their eyes to hide their identities.

"We're ready." Batman said from behind the glass. The YJ members looked to the one-way mirror and nodded. Then pressed the button to wake the beast.

"Shoot shoot shoot shoot. He's WAKING UP!" Wally panicked inside the team's mind-link.

"Shut it Baywatch! You screaming in our heads I sit doing any good." Artemis said back. Wally quieted down but still made small worried comments.

The assassin groaned as he opened his eyes.

"This again." He mumbled, though the team heard it.

"Hello." Aqualad greeted, his voice calm and even. The assassin raised an eyebrow at the new voice.

The boy chuckled for a moment, "other guys got tired of me." He said.

"Will you just answer the questions so we can get out of here?" Artemis snapped from the corner of the small room, arms crossed in front of her.

"Why don't you dummies understand this. I am not answering your questions." The assassin snapped back, his annoyance visible.

"You probably don't even have any secrets any secrets to tell anyways. It's pretty obvious your a bad assassin." Wally smirked, an idea of how to get the kid to talk forming.

A frown made its way onto the assassin's face as he sent a heart-stopping glare at the speedster. "What?"

"Well you were sent to kill us weren't you?" Kid Flash gestured to his friends, "and besides a few casts and bruises, were breathing without life support." The boy scowled and looked away, KF smirked.

"So what could a no good assassin know? Who'd entrust you - you - with valuable secrets?" The team stared at Wally, surprised at how he came up with a good way to get to the kid. He was the only one to take in the fact that he was actually a kid. And if there's one thing kids hate more than not doing things correctly, it's being accused of not knowing things.

"I'll have you know speedster I know more than you could ever imagine!" The assassin yelled back. "My mission was to kill this team! No one told me your superpowered mommies and daddies would be here too!"

"Your boss seems like an idiot to not tell you about the Justice League. You know our mentors." Wally said with an eyebrow raised and a smirk.

"HE IS NOT HE'S-," The boy stopped himself quickly, he almost let a name slip.

"He's what?"

The assassin stared at the speedster but didn't talk. Wally stared back.

"Could we at least get your name?" Wally asked, breaking their staring contest.

"If it'll get you guys to leave me alone," the boy sighed. "But, your bodyguards behind the glass gotta go."

The teen heroes froze, the assassin smirked. "I'm an assassin dummies, and a good one at that. You think I wouldn't notice them behind some glass?" The sound of a door opening and closing could be heard. The boy smirked when he got them to leave.

"They're gone," Connor grunted in his usual cold and gruff voice.

"Woah, You can talk?! I thought you just grunted like an animal."

"Not the time kid. Now the Justice League members are gone. Your turn." Artemis spoke from her corner.

The assassin sighed, "fine."

"Hello Targets, I go by many names. But the one that sticks around the most has gotta be, 'R'."

Ooooh What a cool name ( the sarcasm is strong ) So little Dickie Bird goes by the name 'R' he's gotta thing for dramatics doesn't he 😂
