"WHAT HAPPENED?" Clary asked as she approached the stairs "We're not sure" Alec said as the four went down the stairs along with the redhead "How long has the system been down?" Alec asked and a shadowhunter answered "Less than ten minutes" while a woman came forward and spoke "Maybe it's just a glitch"
The group ran to the cells.
Institute Cells
THE MOMENT THEY REACHED THE CELLS THEY FOUND THE CELLS THEY STOPPED. The girl that was possessed and was supposed to be awake was unconscious "No" Grace whispered and they all ran to the girl. Alec unlocked the cell and Magnus ran in first with Chris to check the girl.
Chris turned her so she was facing the ceiling and Magnus used his abilities on her. A moment later she gasped and sat up. She started to look around her worried "What's going on?" Clary asked her gaze snapping to Magnus.
"She's free from her demonic possession" he replied his hand still hovering over the girl as a blue wave hovered over her. The girl panted "Where am I?" she asked and Grace quickly kneeled in front of her "It's okay, you're safe here" she spoke and turned to the four standing behind her "You're okay" she repeated.
Institute Kitchen, Midnight
CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRY WERE HER FAVOURITES. She found herself eating chocolate ice cream to calm herself down, as she couldn't help but feel uneasy with the alarms going off earlier today. She heard footsteps approaching and saw Clary entering the kitchen looking worried and frustrated.
"Woah Red, what happened?" Grace asked her and she just shook her head grabbing a spoon and taking a huge scoop of ice cream. Grace sighed annoyed and placed the ice cream down making her stop eating from her full spoon and look at the blonde.
Grace made a gesture with her hand and spoke "Come on, speak up Red" she sighed and placed her spoon in the ice cream "It's Jace, he thinks he is losing his mind... And I think there's something wrong with him" she sighed and wiped her eyes "I don't know what to do"
Grace placed a hand on her shoulder and Clary crashed herself into her friend, hands going around her waist. Grace hugged her back and softly spoke into her ear "You stay with him, make him feel safe around you... I'll do the talking, he's my brother after all" she nodded into the blonde's chest and broke the hug.
"He's in his room, I left him there to sleep I don't know if he is sleeping though," Clary said and Grace nodded "You eat the ice cream and I'll go to him okay Red?" she asked and the redhead nodded grabbing the ice cream "Hey" Grace called and she turned to her friend. Grace smiled at her "Save me some" she said and Grace smiled a bit, nodding.
