"IT'S WONDERFUL TO SEE YOU ALL BUT BASED ON THE UNSCHEDULED VISIT SEEMS THAT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT," Imogen said as she took her place behind her desk. Alec, Chris and Grace stood side by side behind Clary and Izzy and they too looked at each other before Clary decided to speak.
"Jace has been compromised, by the greater demon Lilith. She's controlling his every move" she said and Imogen straightened up from her position "By the angel" Imogen said, "How did this happen?" Imogen asked and Clary opened her mouth to speak along with Chris but was cut off.
"We don't know" Alec and Grace spoke simultaneously "We believe we can heal Jace, without having to alert the Clave" she spoke and Imogen looked at her "That's why we came to you" Alec added "If you can give us the Malachai configuration, we can contain Jace, we can heal him" Izzy spoke staring at the woman in front of her.
"And what about consul Penhallow?" Imogen asked and Clary took a deep breath ''Who says she has to know?" she asked and Imogen raised her eyebrows at the redhead and then turned to look at Grace and Chris. They shrugged in response.
Alicante, Later
"MY SECURITY CLEARANCE HAS TO BE USED THROUGH A THUMBPRINT," Imogen said "Never heard of that before" Chris spoke behind them "When the Circle members were arrested we increased the security protocols in high-risk areas in the city," she said and then added "The army is one of them"
"I didn't realize we had visitors" a voice spoke behind them and Grace turned to see consul Penhallow along with a few shadowhunters "Consul Penhallow" Imogen spoke and approached the woman "What brings the New York Institute to Alicante?" she asked "Inquisitor Herondale was just giving us a tour," Clary said "Of the armoury, so I can work on business improvement" Izzy added and the consul nodded "Excellent idea... I have a few moments to share do you mind if I join you?" she asked and Alec jumped in to stop her.
"Actually, consul Penhallow, I was hoping I could speak with you in private," he said. She hesitantly nodded "Of course," she said and Alec nodded. Imogen nodded at the woman "Consul" she said and the five left to the armoury.
Armoury, Minutes Later
IZZY AND GRACE WALKED OUT OF THE ARMOURY WITH A DUFFLE BAG IN THEIR HANDS. They met with Clary and Chris at the door and she frowned at the bag "How is it possible for it to fit in a duffle bag?" she asked and Chris sighed "We'll explain later" he said "I made sure it won't be detected as missing, to make sure we wouldn't have the Clave on our backs," Grace said and the sighed "All we have to do now is find Jace" she added "You know is sometimes think it'd be better if Jace had never met me," she said and Grace turned to her along with the others.
