I stare into his eyes and he stares back. Neither of us saying a word. Just staring.
"Reece what's taking so long?" Ness yells from the living room,
He finally speaks,
"So Reece..." He tests my name on his tongue, his lips turning up into a small grin. I scowl,
"Just give me the pizza."
"Now that's no way to talk to a friend,"
I scoff, "Oh that's what we are now."
"Of course... I make friends with everyone I bump into at train stations." I laugh a little at that,
"Sounds like an... interesting way to make 'friends'."
He laughs at that and shakes his head, his curly hair moving with him. I hand him his tip and take the pizza box from him.
"So... I'll see you around Reece?"
"Yeah, see you around..."
"Leo. My name is Leo." He says with a grin,
"Leo... I'll see you around." He turns to walk away but pauses, he looks back at me.
I don't know what he's thinking, I can't read those black eyes that seem to hold no emotion but maybe... just maybe there was something there that I just couldn't see.
He finally turns around and walks away, I let out a breath. I'm deep in my thought as I sit on the couch next to Vanessa,
"What took so damn lo- Oooohhh, pizza!"
Yup... pizza.
