"What's wrong?" Jisung dared to ask, pupils already wavering.

"Are you just using me?"

"Huh?"

"Are you just using me?" He repeated, lifting his head so that he could look Jisung in the eyes.

To say the least, Chenle looked so broken and Jisung wanted so badly to hug him and tell him how important he was, but he knew Chenle wasn't going to accept it.

"N-No, I-I would never! Lele, why would I ever use you?" Jisung had his brows furrowed in confusion.

"Then explain why Minyoung would post something like this then personally text me this?" Chenle threw his phone to Jisung, which luckily, he caught but not after fumbling with it for a few seconds.

On the screen was a post on Minyoung's instagram account, stating that him, Park fucking Jisung, was now officially her boyfriend. The picture was of a sunset, but there was more. Sliding his finger across the screen, it revealed alleged text conversations between him and her.

Which, of course, never happened.

The text messages revealed how Jisung was supposedly using Chenle then how he supposedly asked her out? Everything was a mess and Jisung was beyond fuming.

Just when he tries to be nice, he gets hit with this bullshit.

Heaving in a sharp inhale, he went over to the text message app. Oh how he regretted opening up her's and Chenle's chat, as it only made him angrier.

Minyoung was basically threatening his boyfriend, saying that he should back off from Jisung since Jisung is apparently her's now. The taller male rolled his eyes at Minyoung's threats.

'One kiss does not fucking mean we are automatically dating--'

"Are you mad that your relationship with her is now public and that I know you were only using me?" Chenle spat out bitterly, hot tears already brimming his eyes.

Jisung shook his head almost immediately, "I'm mad that she thinks I'm fucking dating her. I do her one favor to be nice and this is what I get in return? Lele, you know that I've liked, no loved, you since day one. I would never intentionally hurt you like this! You mean so fucking much to me, that's why I waited. Why the hell would I throw it all out of the window like this?"

"So, what you're saying is that...it's not true?"

The younger male sighed and kneeled down to be face to face with Chenle. Placing the latter's phone down onto the bench, he cupped Chenle's rosy cheeks and said, "No, it's not. What's true is that I'm head over heels for you. Yes, you, Zhong Chenle. The boy who super glued their third grade teacher's phone onto her desk. The boy who sounds like a dolphin every time he laughs. The boy who, me, Park Jisung, fell in love with."

"I-"

"Just shut up and kiss me you idiot."

And the idiot did kiss Jisung.

Chenle blamed himself for being so stupid to believe things like that. He guessed that because of Jieun, the fear of being used still strongly lingered in him. So, when he saw the post then the messages, he was quick to assume the worst case scenario.

But he was glad it was all a misunderstanding. That Jisung wasn't really using him. That the boy he had known since diapers loves him as much as he loves him back.

"Jisung, you don't have to confront her about--"

"No, I do. She's the one who's putting a bad rep on both of us and the one who started all of this mess." Jisung was marching up to school, agitation clear in his steps.

Chenle followed closely, holding onto Jisung's hand like his life depended on it.

Right when the two entered the school building, stares and whispers were already thrown their way. Jisung, being absolutely blinded by rage, couldn't care less about what his peers had to say.

They could be talking how his hair looked like a bird's nest, or that he was being a total dick to Chenle, but did he care? Nope.

He bursted into his homeroom class, spotting his target talking animatedly to her friends.

"Yah! Ha Minyoung!" His booming voice shut the other students up immediately, as it also gained the said female's attention.

"Oh shit, the tea's about to spill and Jisung Pwark is about to snatch her weave." Donghyuck muttered lowly at the back of the class, earning a slap from his seat mate, Mark.

"Yes sweetie?" The female replied, and innocent look on her face.

Jisung scoffed, "I want to make it publicly and officially known that I am in fact dating, and is the boyfriend of, Zhong Chenle. Not you, Minyoung. That post was nothing but a lie, and you know that."

"What do you mean? Nothing on that post was a lie--"

"Believe what you want, and know that I will never steep down to your level just to get what I want Minyoung. My heart belongs to Zhong Chenle and only Zhong Chenle, understand?" Giving her one last piercing glare, he was out of that classroom in the matter of seconds.

He could hear everyone start whispering in the class once he and Chenle left, but he couldn't care less about what they thought about the situation. At least his friends and boyfriend believed him, and that's all he needed.

"Jisung, we still have school--"

"We're skipping today, and that's final."

Chenle just chuckled softly from behind him. He could recall those same exact words coming out of the younger's mouth when they were younger. It was when Chenle had heard the news about his mother being pled guilty and was sentenced to five years in prison.

The two of them were in class and Chenle tried so hard not to break down in the middle of class. Jisung noticed and excused both of them to go to the bathroom, but they both ended up skipping so that Chenle could take a breather.
