As you sit on the bed, waiting for Mr. Lee, your mind is going a mile a minute thinking of how the vampires (both staff and masters) would think of you. You know that you have always been unwanted and that people always looked at you with disgust but you hoped that the vampires in this house would at least be friendly to you. You didn't care if they actually like you. You were used to not being liked. Your thoughts were disrupted by a gentle knock of the door.

You open the door to see Mr. Lee. "Ready to meet everyone?" he asked with a smile. "Yes" you responded. You became even more nervous. You follow Mr. Lee down the hallway and down the stairs.

"The staff here rotate their duties. Because of this we do not need to employ a lot of staff" Mr. Lee explains. He opens a door revealing the kitchen. The kitchen is huge and you see two women cooking.

"Ms. Choi, Ms. Park, this is Ms y/f/n y/l/n. She will be starting here as the new maid starting today." Mr. Lee says. The two women look up and bow to you. You notice hesitation and uncertainty in their eyes.

"H-hello. please call me y/n. I look forward to working with you" You bow to Ms Choi and Ms Park. They exchange looks and once again you feel as if this place will be the same as all of the other jobs you had. Mr. Lee signals for you to follow him out of the kitchen.

You walk behind Mr. Lee with your head down. For some reason you had a small bit of hope that this place would be different. You curse at yourself for thinking there was even a slight chance for you to be accepted. "Why did I think that vampires would be different from humans?"

Mr. Lee takes you on a tour and you try to commit every hallway and door to memory. While walking he explains that you will be on cleaning duty for a bit and that you will slowly be taught the other tasks that are required of you including cooking.

"I thought that vampires only needed blood. Why would I be cooking regular food?" You asked and immediately regretted how you asked the question. Mr. Lee just chuckled.

"You are right. We do not technically need food but we enjoy it. We get daily deliveries of blood to the house but the masters still love regular food. Especially Master Seokjin." Mr. Lee opened a door and it revealed a beautiful library. "Ms. y/n, please wait here. I will gather the masters so they can meet you." Mr. Lee exited the room.

You look around the library in awe. You loved to read. It was one of the few things that could make you forget about your shitty life. You were able to teleport yourself into different stories and adventures when you read. You knew you wouldn't have time to read but part of you wished that you could read every book in the room. You were so mesmerized by the amount of books in the room that you didn't even realize that seven handsome men stepped into the room along with Mr. Lee.

Mr. Lee clears his throat and you are brought back to reality. You turn to see seven men walk to the seats in the middle of the room. How in the world were they so handsome. Visually you could not see a single flaw with them. Your mouth fell open slightly as you took in their looks. "If all vampires look like this then my heart may be in trouble" you thought.

Mr. Lee pulls you to stand in front of the men who you would be calling master. "This is Ms. y/f/n y/l/n. She will be the new maid starting today." Mr. Lee tells them.

"I-it i-is n-nice to m-meet y-you all."You couldn't help but stutter. You kept your head hung low. You could not bring yourself to look at the seven men. They looked so intimidating.

"This is Master Seokjin. He is the eldest of the seven. He loves food and telling dad jokes." Mr. Lee points out. "Please call me Jin instead on Seokjin." Master Jin says. You nod your head in acknowledgement.

Mr. Lee continues the introductions and you learn a little about each master. Master Namjoon, while not the oldest, is the leader of the Bangtan clan. Master Yoongi hates to be woken up. You make a mental note not to wake him up unless absolutely necessary. Master Hoseok, who would prefer you to call him Hobi, always has a smile on his face. "If Hoseok is being serious everyone better take cover" Master Jin says while laughing.

The last three to be introduced was Master Jimin, Master Taehyung, and Master Jungkook. You were told Master Jungkook is the youngest out of the seven. While looking at all seven the one that stood out to you was Master Taehyung. You weren't sure why. He sat on the sofa with a stoic yet serious face. He was not smiling like Master Jimin or Master Hoseok but for some reason he was the one who made your heart race.

You never had a crush on anyone so you were unaware that that was what you were feeling. You tried hard not to stare at Master Taehyung but your eyes always went back to him. He looked perfect. He looked ethereal as he sat on the sofa. He was tall and slender and had the most vibrant red hair. He did not look up at you once.

Taehyung's POV

I walked in the room with the others. I see a girl who is so enthralled by the library that she doesn't notice us in the room. Mr. Lee cleared his throat and the girl turned around. I walked with the others and took a seat on the sofa while the others sat down.

"This is Ms. y/f/n y/l/n. She will be the new maid starting today." Mr. Lee says. She looks nervous, which I don't blame her" We can tell she is not a vampire. I do not know why a human would want to work for vampires. Humans have always considered themselves far superior than us.

"I-it i-is n-nice to m-meet y-you all." She spoke. Her voice captivated me for some reason. Visually she was a bit plain but to me she was beautiful. As Mr. Lee is introducing us I kept stealing glances at her. Once he was done I looked away from her. I did not want her to know I was staring at her. I refused to let myself develop feelings for her. I made the mistake of having feelings for a human once, but not again.
