Unwanted A Kim Taehyung x Reader story

After being introduced to everyone, Mr. Lee told you to take the rest of the day memorizing the house layout. You walked around taking notes on where everything was. The easiest part was the hallway where the master's rooms were. Their rooms were the only ones on that hallway. You familiarize yourself with the house and decide to go outside to the garden.

You walk outside and see a large garden filled with many different flowers. You take a large breath in. Your nose is filled with the different scents of flowers. There were so many. Some you knew, some you didn't. You wondered if there was a gardener who tended to these flowers. As you walked, you couldn't help but notice how each one was taken care of with love. You crouch down to a flower that caught your eye.

You looked at the flowers that were unfamiliar to you. They almost looked unreal. The blue and purples mixed so nicely. You wanted to pick one but decided not to. 

You kept looking around the garden. It relaxed you and made you feel at peace. You began to feel a little hot. It was mid-August, still summer time, but you wore a long-sleeved shirt and jeans. You never wore anything that exposed your arms or legs. There were too many scars on them. Some were self-inflicted but most were done while you were living at the orphanage. One time, you had a job that required you to wear a short-sleeved shirt. People kept staring at your arms and you hated it.

You lost track of time as you were wandering the garden. You loved this area of the mansion. You couldn't decide if the garden or the library was your favorite. To you, both were places were you could escape from the hellish life you lived in. You were so immersed in the views of the garden that you didn't know you were being watched. 

Taehyung POV

Y/N and Mr Lee left the room. No one said anything for a minute of two. Finally Namjoon spoke up. "She is definitely an interesting human. Who would have thought that a human would want to work at a place with vampires." 

"Interesting for sure, but my question is why. Is she some sort of spy for the humans? They have been wanting to rid us for centuries." Hoseok said. 

I kept quiet. I wanted to say something but didn't want the others to assume anything. My head had so many questions going through it. Why would a human want to work for us? What will she think of us as she works here? Why is she making me think and feel like this. I just met her and already I want to know more about her.

I got up and headed back to my room. There I can find some solitude and try to sort out the thoughts in my head. I opened the window and walked out onto the balcony. It faced the garden that I love so much. Everyone who sees our garden asks for the name of our gardener. They are shocked when they find out it is me. As I stare out into the garden I see her. She is walking around the garden and smelling the flowers. I can't help but smile.

I keep watching her as she moves through the garden and can't help but wonder why she isn't hot. It was summer time yet she wore a long sleeved-shirt.  

"Interested in our new maid?" Jimin said as he got closer to the rail of the balcony. "No I just came out here for fresh air" I lied. Jimin looks like he doesn't believe me. Jimin is my closest friend but I did not want him to know that y/n piqued my interest. Jimin doesn't say anything in return. He just nods his head before walking away. 

Y/N POV

You head back into the house. As you are about to go up the stairs to your room, you are stopped by Ms. Choi. "Ms y/n, Mr. Lee wanted me to let you know that dinner will be served in an hour. Once we serve the masters we will be eating in the servants dining hall which is next to the kitchen."

"Thank you." You respond. You head up to your room to take a bath. 

You take off your clothes as you wait for the water to get hot. The bathroom is small so as your water gets hot, the steam fills the room. You step into the hot bath wincing a little. Some of your scars are sensitive but you don't mind. You sit down and let yourself relax in the bath. You reach for your shampoo and start to wash your hair. You take your time bathing yourself. The hotel you stayed in never got water this hot. You were lucky if you had luke warm water.

You finish your bath and get dressed. You head downstairs to the servants dining room. You enter to see Ms. Choi and Mr. Lee sitting at the small table. Ms. Park enters with a cart that has four plates on it. She places the bowls in front of everyone, moves the cart to the wall, and then sits down. 

You look at the delicious bibimbap in front of you. You have never had it before but you have seen it. When you were in the orphanage all you got was rice and scraps of meat that would have usually been thrown away. You take a large spoonful into your mouth and cannot believe how good it tastes. "This is really delicious Ms. Park." you said in between bites. She mumbles a thank you as she eats. The rest of dinner is silent. 

After dinner you head back to your room. You brush your teeth and climb into bed. It was almost 9pm and you knew you would have to wake up early. You closed your eyes and let sleep take over you.
