Hey guys! So on top of the Christmas fic I'm working on, I got inspired to write a song fic. I love Gwen Stefani's music, and this is one of my favorite Christmas songs. I went to a light show and got inspired to write this. Hope you enjoy it!

What was supposed to be a serious Christmas gift wrapping session had turned into a silly Christmas war.

Riza smiled to herself as Roy scooped her up bridal style and headed outside to the front yard — leaving their wrapping supplies on the table in the garage. She laughed and yelled in protest as he threatened to drop her into a snow pile in front of their brightly lit house.

Brightly colored lights lit up their yard, giving the snowy surroundings a bright, colored glow. It was their first Christmas as a couple, and they wanted to make their house warm, welcoming, and festive.

Roy turned to Riza and smiled to himself. Her eyes twinkled as she admired their home. He took her into a hug, and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead.

The couple went back inside and went into their living room. The fireplace was lit, giving the room a dim but warm glow. They say on the couch together and snuggled into one another — simply enjoying each other's company.
