Bethany was happily playing in the shop with her toy lamb while I did some inventory. I was hoping today would be somewhat normal but I know it's not going to be. I dont know why I try to wish for that it's never gonna happen. As if on cue the door opens and Emma, Hook, David and Mary Margaret come in.
"Please tell me what you came to say is good news and I can relax" I said
"Afraid not" David said and I sigh.
"Spit it out whats wrong now?" I asked
"The witches have August" Snow said "And"
"And what?" I asked
"Should we tell her?" Snow asked
"She has a right to know" Hook said
"But this could send her over the edge" David said
"I'm right here" I said "What's going on?"
"Z" Emma said "Gold is back in town" It was at that moment I felt my heart stop and my blood run cold. This could not be happening not now.
"H-h-he's here?" I asked "Th-that's..." "That's impossible."
"Well, did you really think he'd stay away?" Snow asked
"Zoey, the dagger... you need to hand it over so we can stop this fight before it starts." Emma said
"The dagger?" I asked "I-I don't have the dagger." "Killian does."
"Who?" Hook asked "Me?" "Well, I haven't seen that cursed blade since you commanded the Crocodile to leave the first time."
"But y-you took it from me last night to hide it where no one could find it." I said
"After the lifetimes I spent searching for a way to destroy the Dark One, I'm pretty certain I'd remember holding that dagger in my hand." Hook said
