As soon as the words left Fleur's mouth, Harry felt himself stiffen.
"What do you want to know about it?" He asked cautiously, careful not to sound very nervous.
Fleur shrugged. "Anything you know, parents, friends, family etc." She said.
Harry shifted uncomfortably, his mind working fast. "Ugh-someone in particular?" He pleaded.
Fleur rolled her eyes. "Well, your parents?" She suggested.
"What about them?" Harry asked, feeling himself sweat.
Fleur narrowed her eyes. "Are you going to speak or not?" She demanded, raising an eyebrow.
Harry blushed. "Yeah-um-My parents were...normal. I mean Mum & Dad" He shrugged.
Fleur rolled her eyes again. "Harry everyone's biological parent is a Mum and Dad" She snapped.
"Y-Yeah I know, I mean my mum was a muggle born witch. She-er-went to Beauxbatons too. There she met my dad and-you know.." He shrugged, "The love story begins"
Fleur relaxed. "For a second there I thought..." She trailed off, "Never Mind. Go on Harry" She muttered.
"Then they got married and had me" He said, "The End"
Fleur stared at him blankly. "The End?" She questioned.
Harry nodded. "Yep, The End" He agreed.
Fleur rolled her eyes and said, "So where are they now?"
Harry felt himself stiffen. For a second he did not say anything, then seeing the curious look on Fleur's face he opened his mouth and said, "They're Dead"
Fleur shifted uncomfortably and kept her hand on top of Harry's. "I-I'm sorry Harry" She whispered, looking troubled. "I didn't know about it. I shouldn't have forced you" She looked down at her lap.
Harry immediately felt guilty. The death of his parents was a long time ago, and it didn't hurt to talk about it anymore.
Partially because James and Lily were alive again (In this era anyways) and partially because he wouldn't have wanted his parents to spend their whole lives staying hiding because of him. So whatever had happened, it was for the greater good.
And he definitely didn't want Fleur to get upset because of it, so he instinctively reached out and touched her cheek.
"Hey Fle-Fle" He said, grinning. "You know, you look horrible when you're upset. Please stop being upset"
Fleur gave him a confused look. "You're not mad?" She asked, the color returning to her eyes.
Harry shook his head and muttered, "Nah, besides you remind me of Ron"
Fleur raised an eyebrow. "Ron?" She questioned.
Harry nodded. "Ron Weadely and Hermione Granger, my best buds from Hog-Beauxbatons" He corrected himself quickly.
Fleur smiled. "Really?" She asked, "Can I meet them?"
Harry paused. "Er-Sure" He muttered, shrugging.
Fleur grinned. "You have quiet an uninteresting past" She commented.
Harry smiled.
If only she knew.
"Now, Now, Fle-Fle. Time for your past"
