Unexpected

Chapter Fifty Five: Echo

"Can you two go one minuet without trying to annoy me?" James demanded, glaring at the Prewett brothers. 

Fabian grinned. "Annoy me?" He echoed.

"Shut up" James grumbled.

"Up" Gideon grinned.

Harry rolled his eyes. Since the last thirty minuets, Fabian and Gideon Prewett had been echoing the last words of whatever James said. For example, if he said "I do not love cookies" then they'd say "love cookies" just to annoy him. 

At first it had been hilarious. Even James had chuckled once or twice. But then it had started getting annoying. And the twins would still not stop their joke and let James give his "captain" speech. Annoying, really. 

"Alright now Fabian and Gideon, stop doing that. I'll give you cookies" James suggested.

"Give cookies" Fabian agreed.

"Cookies" Gideon nodded.

James groaned. "You are annoying" He muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Are annoying" Gideon grinned, pointing at James.

"Annoying" Fabian mocked.

James rolled his eyes. "Will you be serious?"

"Serious?" Fabian looked confused.

"Serious?" Gideon demanded, pointing at Sirius.

Sirius sighed. "You're a fool" He mumbled, rolling his eyes at Gideon.

"A fool" Gideon nodded, pointing at Sirius.

Sirius looked offended. "I am no fool!" He exclaimed.

"Fool" Gideon grinned, staring at Sirius.

Sirius growled. "You're a blue elephant!"

"Blue elephant!"

"Sirius Black is the best! Gideon Prewett is the fool!"

"The fool!"

"Hey!"

"Hey!"

"You're a fatty!"

"You're a fatty!"

"Hey! That was a complete sentence, not the last words!"

"Last words!"

"Shut up!"

"Up!"

"Down!"

"Down!"

"Left!"

"Left!"

"Right!"

"Right!"

"S-"

"SHUT UP!" Lily exclaimed, stepping between Sirius and Gideon. "Will you let James speak?" She demanded. 

"James speak" Fabian agreed.

Lily rolled her eyes and turned to look at James. "Speak" She said.

James nodded, taking the silence as an encouragement. "Look," He begun, "Today is the final match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. We have to win this match no matter what. Black," He cast an apologetic look at Sirius, who just shook his head and continued, "is extremely dangerous and a wonderful player. Do not underestimate his power. He's an excellent seeker. Harry," James turned to look at him, "You are one of the best seekers I've ever met. Please please do not accio anyone or use any spells in the match. Madam Hooch won't let it go like the last time. Over all, we're a wonderful team. Fleur, as usual is a wonderful chaser. Fab and Gid are awesome beaters. We've got Jacques and Isaac too. Then of course, we have me. The amazing captain. And Harry too, you're amazing man. In short, we're going to win the match today and make all the Gryffindors proud. Agreed?"

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Let the match begin.
