"Speak," Harry mouthed, staring at the house-elf pleadingly.
Willy finally stopped choking and shot the two boys a curious look. "Willy-"
"Merlin's trousers!" James exclaimed, rushing forward towards the house-elf. "Willy, Willy? Are you okay? Is everything alright? What happened?"
Willy the house-elf looked at James Potter blankly. He stood there quietly for a second, before forcing a smile upon his face and saying, "Nothing, Master James," He gave Harry a cautious look. "Nothing at all."
Harry breathed a sigh of relief. So the house-elf didn't understand. "Are you okay now, Willy?" He asked, walking a few steps forwards. "Are you alright?"
Willy nodded, not looking at him. "Willy is fine now, Master Harry," He said. "Willy has some work. So, he would like to go." The house-elf said, pushing past both James and Harry.
Silence.
"I wonder what had happened?" James spoke finally, looking up at Harry. "One second, he was all okay. The next, he was clutching to his neck like he'd lost his voice."
Harry bit his lip. Sure he had, he thought, but out aloud he only nodded and spoke a small, 'yes.'
Harry had been the slightest second late to see what was happening. House-elves, as he'd learned, served whole families that their ancestors had been serving. It seemed that Willy's parents and family had been doing the same thing for the Potters. Therefore, Harry being James' Potter's son, was also a Potter and had given Willy the very first order: Don't speak.
Of course, Willy had obeyed. He didn't have a choice. He served the Potter family.
Harry's family.
Harry knew how close he'd come today of being found out. He reminded himself that he had to be careful around here and made a mental note to talk to Willy as less as possible. And if he did, he would make sure to not go out giving orders.
"Harry-Harry, hey Harry? You okay, buddy?" James voice snapped Harry out of his thoughts.
"Yes, yes," Harry nodded, forcing a smile upon his face. "I'm perfectly okay James."
James nodded, scratching his chin. "You didn't hear anything that I told you now, did you?"
Harry shook his head. "Nope."
Chuckling, James stood up from his place and turned around to face Harry. "Remember what I told you about the sharing-room things?" He demanded, raising an eyebrow.
Harry nodded. "Yeah, I remember. We were going to ask Fleur and Lily that with whom would they like to share their rooms with."
James grinned.
"Well, then let's go and ask."A/N: Hey guys, I'm well now! I promise to update as much as possible! Also, WARNING: DRAMA INCOMING!
