The astronaut conversation led to the burnt toast one and then the baby weasel one and then our interactions began to melt into one another and meld into an experience that stayed on my mind and made my chest fill with warmth. Not hope exactly, because even your presence couldn't pull me from the restraints and responsibilities of time, but comfort.
It was strange to me, how easy it all was. Even more strange that it wasn't long before the line between strangers and friends began to blur.
