Sam quickly got up and brushed herself off. She looked over at Josh flustered. 

"Shit get dressed..!" Sam quickly tried to run upstairs to get dressed but Josh grabbed her arm and groaned "Do we have too..?~ Things we're getting good~" Josh smirked and ran his hand under her shirt. Sam rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek "Sweetie we'll do it later..~"

"Hello? Anyone home..?" Ashley asked behind the door. "Wait.. that voice sounds famil-"

"Never mind that let's just get ready.. We'll be there in a minute!" Sam pulled Josh upstairs and they both started to get dressed. After a few minutes Sam and Josh walked down the stairs. Josh reached for the door and went to open it but Sam grabbed his hand and looked him straight into the eyes.

"Hey... Remember I only want to help you.." Josh looked at her and Chuckled. "What did you do hire me a therapist..?~" Josh snickered and opened the door but soon his smile turned to a quick fade. He was staring directly at Chris and Ashley, Ashley looking at Josh very shy, Chris barely even looking at Josh.

"Uh... H-Hey Bro..." Chris said so quietly that Ashley could barely hear him. Josh looked at Chris and Ashley and fear. He felt like he'd been stabbed by Sam in the heart and left to bleed out... alone... in the dark where no one could hear him cry for help. 

Josh was about to grab the door and Slam it by Chris grabbed it and looked at him.

"Bro.. I know how scared you must be right now but.. Sam called us.." Ashley continued speaking after Chris. "She told us that you need help... BADLY need it... you may still think we hate you but... we can't hate you forever.. We understand that feeling of being alone in complete isolation.."

Sam looked back at Josh concerned. "When I was in the mines I was alone at first too... It was terrifying down there.. But I only came for you and Mike.. I wasn't going to let you die.. Not like that.."

2015 FLASHBACK

Sam was alone in the mines now after making the decision to send everyone back to the lodge and that she was going alone. They tried to talk her out of her it but she just wouldn't listen to them. She was with Mike at the time when they had discovered the body of the flamethrower man. If it weren't for him and Emily Everyone possibly would've been dead.

Sam gagged and nearly threw up at the sight of the corpse. "I think i'm gonna to be sick..!" Mike clutched his stomach and gagged. 

"Wait wait I think I see something..!" Sam peered behind a boarded up Wall and Saw Josh talking to himself covered in blood and cuts and bruises. Mike and Sam ran through a door to confront Josh. Mike eventually snapped Josh out of his lunatic mind.

"Alright Meet me back at the lodge guys." Mike nodded and started to help Sam climb up the mines. But before she could get any further Josh looked at her and said "Sam wait.."

Sam, mid-way turned to see what he had to say. The words slowly but surely came out of his mouth. Quiet yes but it just needed to loud enough for Sam to hear. 

"Please come back safe.. okay..?" Sam barely made a smile towards Josh and said carefully to him "I will.. I promise" She turned her head back and started to climb up the mines. Sam waited at the door for them. The wind was howling making it harder for Sam to hear or see. She saw Josh and Mike make it to the lodge, Josh barely, stable. Sam took a guess at what he Saw down in the minds. 

Something he would never forget.

PRESENT DAY

Josh was sitting on the couch, his head in Sam's lap Chris sitting across from him. He crossed his arm and took out a notebook, his glasses tilted slightly.

"Really Chris?" Sam looked at him and rolled her eyes "Hey let the professional work okay?" Ashley continued speaking after Chris "You got a degree in computer science dummy~" 

"She doesn't know that!" Chris whispered to Ashley. "We all graduated the same year dummy!~" Josh said interrupting. The group did something they never did in a long time. Laugh together. That sent a wave of relief through Josh. He started to feel happy again. After they all talked for some time and discussed about Josh's feelings, Chris and Ashley were stopped by Josh.

"If you guys want too.. maybe we can all hang out sometime again.. Just the four of us?" Sam was surprised by his Choice of words, Josh was starting to realize what it had meant to be alive. To do the things in your life that you love before you turn to dust (rip parker btw).

Chris and Ashley looked at each other. Chris then said in a joyful tone "Why don't we all hang out right now?!" 

Then with a smile Josh said "Sure"
