~Aurora's Point of View~

It was excruciating, to say the least. I let him stitch my wound back up; coming here just to refuse his help would be pointless after all. I had to withstand his brother's obnoxious hollering, but to be fair it served as a good distraction.

Until the older one decided to attack.

"WOOOOOO YOU CAN DO IT LOVE JUST A FEW MORE HOLES IN YOUR POOR ARM AND VOILA!!" He cheered out from the other couch, pumping his fist into the air. Hades flinched, and I assume it was the last straw. I would've never guessed he would release the needle inside my damn arm to stalk menacingly towards his brother, though.

Hades literally jumped his brother with a pillow first, pushing him off of the couch with a loud careless thud. He was seriously pressing the large fancy-looking pillow into his brother's face, who was violently thrashing his arms and legs around. He got a few punches into the larger man, but his attempts were pointless as he didn't even bother to react.  The wolf-like dog paced around them, barking at the scene obnoxiously.

My head was going to explode.

I started to feel nauseous, and maybe it was because at the sight of a needle jabbed halfway through the damn skin of my arm or maybe it was because of the commotion. I couldn't tell.

After a few more seconds, Hades looked satisfied and threw the pillow aside, climbing off of the man who was now gasping for air dramatically.

"You almost killed me!" He said between large gulps of air. "You actually almost killed me, Hades! I can die in this form you know!" He flailed his arms around like an overgrown child.

"And you!" He pointed at me. "You didn't even bother to help." He pouted. When he realized I wasn't going to reply (in my defense, there's not much to say in a situation like this), he climbed back up on the couch on all fours.

"Tch." Hades clicked his tongue, brushing off his shirt after the commotion and carefully sitting back down at my feet. Although his eyes were calm, I could sense a hint of amusement.

He looked back up at me, a few more hairs now dangling out of place over his forehead.

"Get out."

My heart froze.

"Wh-"

"Woah, don't kick her out big bro!"

"You. Not her." He calmly said whilst finishing up my stitches. Putting a bandage over it, he wiped down the needle and packed up his supplies neatly. He took the disposable gloves off and even folded it up into a small neat square.

To be fair, I never expected him to actually get the job done.

"But you proooomised!" He wailed. "Cerby, loooook, Hades.....is a fuckin liar!" He rolled his body off of the couch, dramatically falling onto the floor once again. The dog sat on top of him and lay its gigantic head on his chest.

Hades sighed, rubbing his temple like an upset father. "Zeus, a word please." He spat, and Zeus scrambled to his feet and quickly walked out of the room, following his brother (the dog following Zeus).

"The hell is going on." I grumbled, lifting the bandage and inspecting my stitches. I had to admit, it looked extremely professional, and I could tell he was skilled in a medicinal way.

But for what reason? Surely, if he was a doctor of some sort he would be busy, right? He would be at a hospital working ridiculously long hours at a time or at home, sleeping during what little time he had for himself until he was paged again.

That routine was all too familiar to me.

Standing up, I began to look around for a way out. There's no point in me staying any longer than I have to.

I could go out the way we came in, but that's the same way those two went, and I can't risk bumping into them. The younger one seemed friendly and I suspect he wouldn't follow me if he saw me sneaking off. But the older one? Not so friendly. Maybe not so forgiving, too.

Maybe if I believed in myself hard enough, like in the movies, I could possibly outrun a full grown man?

Yeah right.

I made sure to keep my steps light, and inched near the hallway we walked through to get here.

"I never agreed to this!" I heard a voice whisper-scream, and I froze in place.

"But you did! You said I can crash here until I find her!"

"Then go fucking find her already, you listless sleazebag!"

And in the midst of me listening in on their whisper argument, my phone rang.

"Shit shit shit shit" I cursed, running back to the couch they left me on.

Dean's ditsy smile was plastered on my screen as the theme song from Harry Potter blasted out. I answered the call as quickly as I could to silence the damn phone.

"What?!" I shouted as quietly as I could, cupping my hand around the phone speaker to minimize any sound from spreading.

"What do you mean what, where the fuck are you?? Hailey's at my house freaking out, what the fuck did you do?!"

"I'm at a friend's house Dean." I lied for some reason. "I'm busy, I'll call you back later. Bye."

"Bye my ass!" He snapped before I could end the call. "Whose house are you at I'm coming." he said, and I could hear Hailey's voice in the background along with keys jingling.

"No no no don't come!" I interjected, even though I knew Dean had no idea where I was.

Hell, I don't even know where I am.

"Who's coming?" A deeper voice asked and I jumped in shock.

Two tall figures loomed above me, blocking the light. Hades stood tall and expressionless, his head tilted slightly with his hands in his pockets while Zeus was frowning, his hands crossed tightly across his chest.

Like an overgrown child.

"N-nobody!" I lied again.

"AURORA!" Dean's voice screamed from within my phone.

"Sure sounds like somebody." Hades remarked, reaching over to take the phone out of my hand. He cleared his voice before speaking.

"The address is 5075 Zaley street. Please wait for me at the gate when you arrive." he spoke, and ended the call without a moment's hesitation. Zeus hummed in satisfaction with his brother's choice of words, and flashed me a smile before turning on his heel and marching away.

I looked at Hades with a horrified expression. There was a ghosted smirk creeping upon his lips and his eyes seemed to challenge me, as if saying what are you gonna do about it?

"Alas, we await the aggravated boyfriend!" He threw his arms up in a dramatic fashion, sauntering off. Even his slow steps seemed to mock me.

What the hell do I do now?
