↳ taeil was born in utter devestation in the ruins of sanguis. he lived most of his life as a mere vagabond, barely surviving with little to no necessities, but he mastered the art of thievery; taeil had no choice but to live his life stealing from people just to get by, even if he knew it was immoral, there was no other way for him. he was just nineteen when attack of the karakuri emerged, killing probably half of humanity — a quarter of the population were those who were kidnapped and transitioned to be an addition to the huge army of karakuris. he saved a few people during the attack as a way to make up for his acts of theft; he soon discovered taeyong, learned about his nct movement, and joined the young man in saving humanity.
