ilsa lived a decent life and childhood. growing up with loving parents together with her cousin, iseul, the former was thankful everyday. due to a small mistake iseul's parents did back when they served the king, they were slain. the two youths had to hide away. worse, they were unfortunate as karakuris traced ilsa and were about to end her life as she "harbored the criminals' daughter." the two ran away when the human weapons burned their house into mere ash and went by as if they were fugitives of their own lives. nct took them in soon after. iseul declined the offer to travel afar on her own and left ilsa in the organization.
