↳ jungwoo, like taeil, was born in the ruins of sanguis. but unlike the latter, he wandered around stealing for his own amusement; a street runt who enjoyed taking away what never belonged to him. his mischievous self got him into a lot of trouble, though. he embraced his life as a free-spirited thief, not caring if people despised him - jungwoo merely went with the flow. he was a victim of the mass abduction during the karakuri attack just a few years ago, obviously a lucky survivor of that wretched day. he swore to himself he will never do anything foolish again, for he believed he nearly died because karma striked him. jungwoo then joined nct to return the favor to karakuris and most of all, king ira.

↳ an innocent but lively pastry shop owner — yukhei, better known as lucas, took care of the small family business after his mother died from illness. all he has left is his elder adoptive sister, xuli. lucas's murderous intents were triggered when the karakuris bombarded sanguis — he resents them as much as how he resents the king with an undying passion; eternally grateful for being alive, he enlisted in nct. he deemed if everyone wants the world the way it was hundreds of years ago, then no one shall cower. tired of the king's games, he left xuli without a word; lucas trusts her with all his heart. he strongly believes she is the first person he will hug lovingly once he returns home.
