The two reached the garden filled with varieties of flowers, bushes, and trees. Critters are seen in any spot as they enjoyed the seemingly Eden like garden. Tsuna's chocolate eyes were filled with amazement as he scanned his eyes upon the garden before him. Fon saw this and smiled.
"Mr. Fon, this is amazing..." Tsuna says gasping
"It is." Fon replies
'You're the one who designed this, Tsunayoshi. Whenever you're stressed you come here.' He thought fondly
"Um, Mr. Fon, what's this called?" Tsuna asks pointing at the blooming chrysanthemums
"Those are called Chrysanthemums, Tsunayoshi. They are native in China." Fon answers
"They're pretty." Tsuna says in awe
Suddenly, Lichi came running unto Tsuna scaring him as he hide behind Fon. Lichi was quite upset and climbed unto Fon's shoulder.
"Don't be afraid, Tsunayoshi. Lichi only wants to play with you." Fon says petting Lichi effectively comforting him
"Okay, sorry Lichi." Tsuna says
Lichi climbed down as Tsuna hugged him.
'Still accepting and warm as the sky even as a young child. How precious.' He thought watching Lichi sit on Tsuna's hair as he look around the garden of Ed- ehem Vongola
"Tsunayoshi, come here." Fon calls
The child went up to him with a curious look.
"Are you hungry?" He asks
"Hmm... yes!" Tsuna thought about it before answering
"Then, let's head in."
Fon carries Tsuna whom was happy by the gesture and nuzzled unto Fon
As they head, the maids and butlers were awing at the duo. Fon was smiling as Tsuna was giggling nuzzling unto him and occasionally playing with his braid. Lichi was on Fon's head sitting happily watching his master and Tsuna. The maids were fangirling quietly and were doing their best not to squeal as for the butlers they were trying to hide their blush and well clearly failed. They headed at the dining room but Tsuna refused to get off and so sat on his lap.
"What do you want for today, Fon-sama? Decimo?" An older maid asks sweetly
Tsuna was confused at the word 'Decimo' but didn't question it.
"Oolong tea please." Fon replies smiling
"How about you, dear?" The maid asks Tsuna
"Milk and cookies, please!" He answers with a bright smile
"Such a cute and happy child. No wonder you became a wonderful boss, Decimo." The maid mutters that went unnoticed by Tsuna but heard by Fon
"De-chi-mo...Death is you?" Tsuna questions thoughtfully making Fon chuckle
"It's an Italian word, Tsunayoshi. It means tenth." Fon explains as Tsuna nodded
A few minutes later, the same maid came with their tea, milk, and cookies. Fon nodded at the maid in thanks as Tsuna gave her a bright smile. The maid bowed then left with her sweet smile.
Fon was enjoying his oolong tea as Tsuna drank his cup of milk happily and occasionally ate cookies and give some to Lichi but not too much cause it's unhealthy for the animal. The scene's theme was likely peace, contentedness, and enjoyment. It was heartwarming just by watching them.
~TIME SKIP~
Tsuna fell asleep nuzzled unto Fon. He was tired as soon as night fell. Seeing as Fon taught Tsuna many things and read him some child friendly Chinese myths and legends. Who would've thought Fon can be such a loving and caring babysitter? It is still unclear how he was a relative of a certain cloud guardian though....
~NEXT DAY~
Fon left Tsuna in the living room and told him to wait for someone to pick him up. Though a bit hesitant to leave the cute child alone he left shortly. Tsuna was drawing with crayons when a tall man in a suit came in.
"Tuna-fish~"
Tsuna perked up at the nickname and looked up to see his father grinning happily.
"Papa?" He questions nearing him
Iemitsu lifted him up and hug him like he had never seen him before.
"I miss you, tuna-fishie." Iemitsu sniffled making Tsuna a lot more confused
"Your scary Auntie Lal is making me do paperwork even though I've retired already." Iemitsu cries
"Iemitsu." A stern woman's voice calls out
Tsuna looked at the door to see a blue haired woman glaring at his father. Iemitsu quickly put Tsuna down and composed himself.
"Come on, Lal~ I need a break~" Iemitsu whines
"You've skipped your paper works 10 times in a row. Isn't that enough break for you?" Lal asks bluntly
"Why don't you just set up a date with Colonello?" He asks
The woman blushed and kicked him in the side as he flew to the wall. Tsuna immediately ran to his father and shook him awake.
"Papa?" He questions worriedly
Iemitsu slowly got up and hugged Tsuna.
"Good thing, you're here Tuna-fish." Iemitsu cries
"To think you're the Young Lion of Vongola is very disappointing." Lal mutters prying him off Tsuna
"Tuna-fishie~~~" Iemitsu cries out getting pulled by the collar
Tsuna merely shrugged it off assuming it's a kind of game for adults. Right, kicking and dragging someone is an adult game. Tsuna went on drawing oblivious to the wails of Iemitsu. Since well the halls are soundproof for some reasons. Probably to avoid hearing the victim's screams of a certain hell spawn.
