When Insecurity Knocks

Chapter 12

Eli hands me my luggage and kisses me briefly, "I'll call you" he says and hauls his things across campus. Back in college, with no way for me to get a private moment with my boyfriend. How can he touch me while we're in public, we don't do that. How can we have sex from two different dorm rooms. I guess we'll figure it out eventually. I wait for Eli to disappear from my sight before I walk off to my dorm room.

Bree is inside sitting infront of the mirror we share wiping her make-up off. I shut the door, "Hey" I say. Bree smiles, "hey! how've you been" she says getting up. I set my things down and hug her. "I've been great, you?" I ask. "Pretty good, so you and Eli got together tell me everything!" she says and we sit on her bed. I giggle.

"Well after Thanksgiving I went over to his house and he introduced me to all of his sisters", "Oh yeah Tobias told me Elias said he had like five sisters" Bree says. "He does and his youngest sister Evie is just the cutest. Afterward he took me up to his room and started touching my stomach", "Why are you pregnant!?" Bree asks. "No I'm not pregnant! I went to lay down on his bed and my shirt went up" I explain. "So why'd he touch your stomach?" she asks. I shrug. "I asked him if we were friends and he told me he liked me and wanted to go on a date. And on the date he was just, pouring his heart out to me and I started crying then we kissed, we ate he took me home and kissed me goodnight." "That is so sweet" Bree smiles. "After that we spent the next few weeks hanging out in each others bedrooms kissing and watching football games.".

"That's it you two didn't sleep together?" she asks. I chuckle and nod, "Yeah I slept with him" but that's as much as she'll know on the subject.

Throughout the next two months Eli and I figure out a system to be together. During lunch he takes me to his room, or he comes to mine. We lock ourselves in the room and make love until our next periods. I'm running low on birth control... eventually were going to have to use condoms. Maybe we should just hold off, that way I won't have to take the pills …right?

Eli pulls out with a large smile on his face then sits back and pants. I lie before him, naked and sweaty, biting my bottom lip as I watch him look at my body. I get butterflies every time I let him look at me like this. He pulls his blanket over us and lies down on top of me, kissing me and biting me. I giggle and whisper, "Are we still going to the beach tomorrow" I ask. Tomorrow is Valentines day. "Yes we are, were gonna take Tobias's car, drive off to this private beach I found a couple miles up and I'm going to make love to you all night long" he whispers seductively and kisses me again.

We've been dating for two and a half months, three months in two weeks. For our two month anniversary Eli took me out to dinner.

We kiss for a few more minutes then wash the sweat off of our bodies in the shower. "I need to get to economics" I tell Eli after were both dressed and ready to depart. "Alright, I've got a free period now. I'll pick you up tomorrow at three and we'll head on out" Eli says and kisses me again. He opens the door for me and as soon as I step out my heart skips a beat. His friends are all gathered at the door having a conversation. "Oh finally you're done" Eli's roommate Brandon says and hauls a cooler into the room. My cheeks turn bright red from embarrassment and I look at Eli. "You knew we were in there?" he asks. "Yeah the walls aren't sound proof" Brandon announces. Eli's other friends begin to pile into the room complaining about how hot and stuffy it is. Brandon opens the windows and sprays Febreeze in the room. "You guys don't need to make a big deal out of this!" Eli complains. "Relax Eli were just teasing you" Jenson smirks. The boys turn the X Box on and gather around it. "OK Eli call me later" I mumble in his ear and Eli holds me close for a moment for a goodbye kiss. "Ah wait! Melissa I think you forgot something" Eli's friend Charlie says holding up a pair of my lingerie panties. I gasp and cover my eyes. I hear Eli storm into the room, "Yo that's no where near funny!" he shouts. I watch as he shoves the boy into the wall and the boys have to hold him back. I grab Eli's arm and pull him out of the room. "Just come with me" I say softly. "Assholes" He mutters.
