bruising

I woke up at 3 in the morning. I got up and went to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and saw that my whole eye was bruised. "I can't hide that from cash." I whispered to myself. "Can't hide what from cash." I heard a voice that startled me. I look over and it was cash. I looked away hoping he didn't see it but he pulled my face towards him. "Oh my god." He said. "Are you in any pain?"
"No." I lied.
"Don't lie to me." He whispered. He picked up my arm and looked at it and there was bruises that I didn't even notice. "Oh." I said surprised. "We have to talk to the principal about this." He said to me. "I know." I said sighing. I go back to bed and close my eyes. Cash is still pacing the floor. He was on his phone. "Can you come lie down with me?" I asked him. He didn't answer he just got in the bed and wrapped his arms around me. "What are we gonna tell you mother?" He asked. "Don't worry about that right now. Okay?" I asked.
And then I fell asleep.

*Next morning*

I wake up and cash wasn't next to me. I want down stairs and see him and Maverick talking. "Oh my god." Maverick said when he looked at me.
"I know." Cash said. His eyes were red and puffy. It looked like he was crying.
"We have to talk to the principal, and maybe even the police." Maverick said. "I know." Cash said. "Let's get ready and leave now." Maverick said.
We all got in the car me and cash in the back, Maverick in the front. Cash wanted to sit In the back with me. He held my hand and looked at me. "Why did they want you to break up with me?" He asked.
"I don't know."
"I think I know who it was." Maverick said. "Who?" Me and cash said.
"One of Hannah's friends. I seen Hannah walk bye and talk to one of the girls."
Me and cash looked at each other.
"I'm sorry I put you through this."
"It's not your fault." I said smiling.
When we got to school we talked to the principal. She called down the girl. Her name was Hailey. When Hailey saw me she laughed. "You think thats funny?!?" Cash said walking up to the girl. I grabbed on to his shoulder before he could go over to her.
