Chapter 7: Above The Law

After leaving the train, Javi and Gabe met up with Tripp and Jesus. Tripp asked where's Conrad and Javi tells him that he didn't make it, which upsets Tripp. Jesus asked where did you and Clem go, Javi said that you two were not their problem anymore and that they just needed to find Eleanor and Kate.

Eventually, they found their car but only found Kate. Kate told them that Eleanor went to go get help but she never came back. With no choice, Javi decided that they need to talk to the New Frontier and hope that they will help them.

They walk up to the gate only to see the same man again, Max. He tells them that they wouldn't help but Javi kepts begging him to save Kate.

Eventually, Max told them to drop their weapons and get on their knees. They do as they're told when the gates open and someone that Javi didn't expect comes out.

His brother, David.

Afterwards Gabe runs to David and hugs him then David takes Kate and the three head inside to the hospital while Tripp, Jesus and Javi were taking down to a cellar, where they met up with Eleanor.

Tripp, Eleanor and Jesus started asking Javi questions about his brother and Javi told him that even though their relationship wasn't always the greatest, they still loved each other. And he told them that he only knew Kate through David and that he was their best man at their wedding. Tripp tells Javi that he doesn't like this and for all they know, David could have been the one behind the attack on Prescott and the death of his daughter. Javi tells Tripp that David is not that kind've man, but he would try to get a moment alone with his brother and get to the bottom of all this when David came down to talk to Javi.

After talking to David and checking on Kate, David takes Javi to the two other leaders of Richmond. David told Javi that there were four leaders and Javi would have to impress the other three for him and his friends to stay. He also warned Javi not to mention Marianna death.

Unfortunately, the talk with the other leaders didn't go so well once they brought Max in. He told the leaders about Javi stealing the gas and that Javi became close friends to you and Clement and that Javi killed a few of his men. 

This pissed Javi off so much that he couldn't help but mention Marianna and what Max and Badger did to Prescott, which shocked the two other leaders, Joan and Clint. Then they blamed David this, saying he is losing control of his soldiers since David leads the military section of Richmond. But they decided to cast Tripp, Jesus and Javi out of Richmond while Eleanor, Kate and Gabe stayed.
Ava hands them a bag, told Javi that David packed it then warned them not to come back. Javi checks the bag to find a bat with a map attached to it.

He opens it to see that David wants them to go north. Tripp looks through the bag to see flashlight and a few weapons while Jesus told Javi from them to find north they need to find the North Star, which Javi finds after a few moments of looking. Then the three men head off north.

That night, the three meet up with some walkers and they start to take them down. Unfortunately, Javi got in the middle of at least three walkers on his own. He was able to take one out with his bat but another walker comes up on him and knocks him down, knocking the bat out of his hands, while a third one was coming.

Javi shoves the walker off of him and reaches out for the bat but couldn't find it. He turned around just in time to see that Clement had the bat and bashed the walkers' head in while you had your sword out and sliced the top of the third walkers' head clean off.

"You should be more careful with this." Clem said to Javi as he hands him his bat. Javi smiles as he takes the bat then Clem helps him to his feet as you sheathed you sword. "We're even now." Clem said and you two start to walk away. "I thought you two were getting out of here." Javi said as he runs up to you two.
