it won't be hard.

donghyuck already has that attitude where in he hurts the people he loves. he likes to tease them, hit them, and that's how he shows his love to them. it would be so easy, he was right. chenle gives worst and easy dares.

the problem is, ever since he discovered this romantic feelings towards an individual, he's having a hard time being himself around mark. he's always loud and his mouth says it all. but around mark, he can't seem to insult him in any way. he can't be loud around him, he tends to be shy and always stumbles in his words. he can't hit him or push him and all, touching him sends electric waves in all parts of his body.

and this is why chenle's dare for donghyuck is hard.

❝hyuckie!❞ the tanned male raised his head and saw mark together with the boys.

he was about to give him a smile but remembered the dolphin's dare and he could feel chenle's stare on him. with that, he went passed by mark who froze when donghyuck just ignored him.

❝i did not know you can do it.❞ jeno chuckled while nudging the tanned male.

donghyuck quickly raised his fist, making jeno flinch, but only motioned to hit him. he really didn't hit jeno, he just did it to scare his smiling friend off.

❝where's jisung?❞ donghyuck turned to chenle and asked.

❝already went inside the building.❞

the tanned male raised a brow, ❝what are you doing here then?❞

chenle smiled and caused the other to be irritated, ❝watching you do your dare.❞ he simply said.

didn't want to talk to chenle anymore, he turned towards his building and was about to leave without saying a word to them but renjun stopped him before he could take a step.

❝going to your class?❞ the short male questioned his with brows raised.

he gave renjun a look, ❝is it not obvious?❞

❝you should go together with mark. you two have the same classes together right?❞ jaemin said, a smirk can be seen from his place and oh how much donghyuck wanted to rip that off.

donghyuck turn to them with a look, and now he's questioning why he's friends with them. they are trying to make him suffer.

❝right.❞ the canadian said, walking next to donghyuck, ❝let's go?❞

and there goes his heart beating like crazy. this wasn't the first time they go to their class together, they are always together ever since but this heart of him just doesn't know when to get tired in running a marathon.

not making his feelings take over him, donghyuck managed to keep his deadpan look on, ❝whatever.❞

walking down the hallways, donghyuck can't help but regret what he is doing. lucas, the senior who has been wanting his attention, was leaning by the railings and it seems like he is waiting for donghyuck because when their eyes met, the senior was now wearing a wide grin on.

❝hey there.❞ yukhei approached the younger continued to walk despite yukhei's presence beside him. ❝hyuckie?❞

❝fuck off.❞ donghyuck scooted away but was only pulled close by yukhei who is now placing an arm around his shoulders.

yukhei chuckled, ❝you curse a lot.❞

❝you deserve to be cursed at.❞ donghyuck shrugged the older's arm off and went to his locker to place his books and get the ones from his next class.

the tall senior leaned by the locker next to donghyuck's and admired the younger's beautiful features, ❝has anyone told you that you're so beautiful and that we belong to each other?❞

❝i believe that the second part is false.❞ he harshly shut his locker, ❝and the first one is a fact. i don't need anyone to tell me that, i already know it.❞

the younger's words only made yukhei smirk, ❝feisty, my type.❞

❝annoying,❞ donghyuck smirked back while eyeing yukhei from top to bottom before looking at him with now a frown, ❝not my type.❞

❝there's no need to lie.❞ yukhei wiggled his brows, ❝i know you like me.❞

❝excuse—❞

❝there you are.❞ a person suddenly appeared out of no where and grabbed donghyuck by the arm and pulled him close. ❝i've been looking for you.❞

donghyuck was about to cling into this person but after knowing who it was, he froze while his heart was beating fast. ❝mark?❞

❝mark my friend!❞ yukhei raised his hand for a high five but the canadian just stared at his hand with his brows raised. yukhei then brought them down and giggled. ❝what are you doing here?❞

❝getting my donghyuck.❞ mark slid his hand down and went to hold donghyuck's, catching the younger off guard. ❝now will you excuse us.❞

donghyuck was then dragged away from lucas, dragged away by a mark lee. just the person he didn't want to meet for a week for himself not to do anything wrong. why can't it be chenle? was he too busy getting jisung's attention to even save him from yukhei? why can't it be jeno, or jaemin, or renjun? those three are out of the list since they always hang out in the library.

❝you should really distance yourself from that guy.❞ mark said, stopping and also making the younger stop.

a dare is a dare after all. even if chenle isn't looking, he still needs to do it.

❝let go of me.❞ donghyuck said, his voice cold and his head down. he couldn't look at mark in the eye.

❝what?❞

❝let go of me.❞ since mark was still not letting go, donghyuck did the honors of using force to remove his hands from mark's hold.

he then left, leaving a confused mark behind.

donghyuck isn't supposed to say that, he's supposed to give thanks to mark for saving him from yukhei. a deep sigh came out from donghyuck's mouth as he went inside his next class.

this is going to be harder than what he thought it would be.
