I'm standing at the ledge
Looking and the edge
Amelia was just a girl when she was put into the foster homes system
Before the tragedy she had two loving parents, a mom who she adored and was very close with and
A father who was always by her side when she needed him
I see the end is nearing
I can hear the end calling
But after the incident that changed.
And it changed for the worst
I know its not my fault
But i can't help but blame myself
Amelia was only 5 when she saw the whole thing happen
And up until the end she had nightmares about it
Things could of been so different
But nothing ever works out
She only wanted a way out of her situation
She didn't want to end it all
But she couldn't see a future for herself
So she made up her mind on the last final blow
If only they were here to help me
Could my life of turned out differently
Amelia was in the foster home system from the age of 5
If you could see me know
Would you be proud or would you turn your shoulder on me
Amelia only wanted a family who loved her like her parents once did
But of course no one wanted to adopt a girl who was into a different type of music then them
But your not here so instead i'll just sit cry and reminisce
On the times when i used to be loved
Amelia was different in more than one way
She loved Panic! At The Disco, All Time Low, Black Veil Brides, etc.
Her favourite colour was black- she wore it all the time.
In the eyes of all the other orphans she was an antisocial emo kid.
She was bullied daily, all the kids would join together to beat her up
Miss Grainy didn't do anything to stop them
She wasn't very nice towards Amelia even though she hadn't done anything to Miss Grainy.
My life is fading
Whilst i'm sat here waisting
Amelia ran away at the age of 16 from the orphanage
They didn't bother to look for her
She ran away and never looked back
All she ever wanted was somebody to love her
But no body did

- Adoption is an option
