_~^ May This Be? ^~_ {Gaster x Neko Reader}

^_~[ Well your fucked aha ]~_^

You've currently have been under his care for a month or so. You've gotten used to the experiments, the coldness. The smell of freshly brewed coffee. But it's always something new with Gaster.

As you sat in the cold empty room, waiting for something to happen, you looked up at the cameras. You stared at them. Knowing something was going to happen. Your ears twitched and your tail flicked. You then heard an alarm go off.  'Knew it' You thought.

You heard the rush off footsteps and gasping. You wanted to know what was going on. Gaster basically fell into your room as he flung open the door. You looked down at him, and blinked "What's going on, Sir?" You said kindly as he got up. He looked up at you and sighed, then looked back at the door. "I have to go." He said before he ran out of the door, closing it behind him. The ground began to shake as you heard others panic. You looked out the small window on the door to see people exiting the building. You started panicking. There was no way of escaping since the door had now handle on the inside and there were no windows. You tried pounding on the door

But no one came.

As you watched the few last people to escape you lost hope, knowing you were going too die in here. Walls started crumbling outside. 'professor Gaster will fix this right? He's a smart man..!' You thought. Then walls began exploding you saw a faint red and orange glow as you heard rumbling. You watched as flames of explosion and toxins came rushing your way. You backed away from the door and into a far corner. You thought about Gaster one last time, you thought of all the positive things in him and not the negative things he's done to you. The door and the wall exploded as flames came raging in. You didn't feel any pain because you luckily blacked out.

Gaster P.O.V

An alarm blared as everyone went confused. I looked up clearly knowing this producer. This was not a drill. I look towards my subject who seemed only a bit concerned.
"I have to go" is what I said as I left to go maintain the core from exploding and obliterating the whole underground. I deeply regret my decisions of leaving her there. I quickly teleported to he core and began working on the core. I cranked, pulled and typed away until I saved the underground just in time..

Then

The lab blew up into pieces.

My work. My subjects. Everything. Gone. In a snap of a finger.

My soul sank to the ground. My eye sockets went dark. Everyone was quiet when the explosion ended. I dropped to my knees. Regretting my decision of leaving my poor kitten in there (when he said kitten he's referring to (y/n))

~ Time Skip to about a day later ~

Third person POV

(Y/n) slowly grew consciousness as she leaned up. She looked at the broken down rubble and rocks that eroded around her, she weakly tried to get up but her arm was broken and her tail was caught below a big piece of metal. (Y/N) looked down and began weeping. No one was here to help her. No one around. She then heard a faint cough. She immediately stopped crying and looked up "i-is anyone there?" She weakly said, looking around. "H...hello?" The creature said. They had a light and frightened voice. (Y/N) saw a child figure stand up and look around. (Y/N) got up "please help me!" She cried. The child came over and looked down, inspecting her. The child had a ripped hospital gown, hair cut to their shoulder and glossy red eyes. "...c-could you maybe m+move that piece of metal..?" (Y/N) said weakly.. the child stared down at her for a moment before going and pushed the metal off her tail. (Y/N)s ears perked up as she slowly got up. "T-thank you, what is your name..?" (y/n) said. The child looked up at her with emotionless eyes
