I wake up in a warm, strong embrace; the arms around me have a loose grip but are holding on firmly enough that I feel safe. The smell of a mostly worn off cologne brings a smile on my face and urges me to snuggle into this person harder, to hold them as close as I can. So I do. I wrap my arms around them as much as I can, burying my face into their sweatshirt clad chest and taking a big, deep, soothing breath in and out. "Hey baby," a deep, comforting voice chuckles above me, "You up?" I nod sleepily and hum. The last I remember, Johnny and I were cuddling on my bed, watching a movie off my laptop together...I must have fallen asleep. "I had such a nice nap, babe. You wouldn't believe it.." I dreamily sigh, clinging on tight to Johnny's torso. "I hope it was worth it, you missed all of the movie!" He pouts with an exaggerated exhale. I wiggle my way out of my previous designation and scooch my way up to Johnny's face, letting me look at him in all his (quite intimidating) beauty. Butterflies make themselves home in my stomach when he places a soft, large hand on my cheek and looks at me lovingly. "My pretty baby. How did I get so lucky?" I giggle shyly scrunching my nose for a slight second, "You're the prettiest here, John. You're breathtaking." Johnny smiles big enough, his one dimple makes itself known. I feign a face of pain and put a hand over my heart, "Johnny baby, you're too damn cute. You'll give me a heart attack with that smile of yours, one day." I coo, relishing in the blush that makes itself oh so apparent on his cheeks. Johnny grabs me and quickly tucks me into his chest, trying to make me avoid seeing his cute pink cheeks; I giggle girlishly as he gives me a little squeeze. "I love you so much, sweetheart." Johnny grinned, a thumb stroking my shoulder in a relaxing manner. "I love you with all my heart, honey." I smiled. Life couldn't be better than what it is in this moment. Scratch that, it could be a bit better if Johnny wasn't squeezing me so tight..
