Chapter 8: Truth or Dare?

N's POV

"Hey N, truth or dare?" I hear Hanji ask me from across the table. We were waiting for a few people to get to the dinning hall (mostly the Corporal) so Hanji decided to gather everyone up to play a round of truth or dare. Of coarse, it was my turn to go and everyone was staring at me. "Dare," I stated flatly, I wouldn't pick truth because I have a feeling that they would ask me for my name. Hanji tugged a smile onto her face, "I dare you to steal the Corporal's cravat and bring it back here." "You mean the thing he wears around his neck? Easy." I declared as I walked towards the door with the smiling Hanji laughing at me with the rest of them just staring, with a few occasional mummers.

I strode to the Corporal's office and knocked on the door. "Name and reason." I hear the deadpan Corporal command from the other side of the door. "N, just cause." I'm a regular here at his office, the truth is most of the time I sleep here. I don't usually have nightmares here and plus I just really like his office. "Come in." I open the door and enter the room, closing the door as I step in. The Corporal was at his desk, staring at me as I strode to his desk, leaning up against it. "Hey Corporal, can I see that?" I pointed to his cravat. "Why?" "Just cause." He looked at me suspiciously, "I'm going to need more of a reason then that." 'Damn' I thought, but then an idea popped into my head. "Ohhh really?" I questioned deviously as I stepped off the desk and stood behind the Corporal. I put my hand under his chin and lifted his head revealing my target. "Do I really have to state my true reason?" He flinched at my action and he even started to blush a little, perfect. He started to try to pull away but before he could do anything I unhooked the loose knot with my fingers and started to run. "Thanks Corporal!" I shouted as I ran out the door, but before I made it down the hallway I hear another set of feet behind me. "N!!!! Give that back!" Uh-oh, he sounded angry and he was catching up. I ran as fast as I could while trying not to trip, but he was fast. 'So close' I thought as I saw the doors to the dinning hall, I ran straight for them and pushed my way through.

Immediately afterwards I felt a pair of arms grab me and throw me to the ground. My hands were brought over my head and the Corporal was on top of me. "Dare complete Hanji." I declared in between panting breath. Corporal looked up at everyone in the room, realizing then what was going on. "Why didn't you just say you needed it for a stupid game that Hanji was playing?" He asked as he took back his cravat, placing it back on his neck and getting off of me. "That wouldn't have been fun now would it? Besides since you're here why don't you play with us?" I snickered as I got up and went back to my seat. He sighed looking at me, "Fine." He said flatly, taking the seat next to Hanji. Everyone looked at us shocked. I had been told that he never plays these games, but it seems that he would play if you just asked. The way we were playing it was that it went down the row so after me was Sasha, who was dared to chug an entire liter of water, it didn't look hard and she did it easily. After her was Connie, who picked truth and his question was if he liked Sasha. Of coarse he said no, but when he did he blushed which made everyone laugh. Finally, for what felt like forever, it was the Corporal's turn.

Levi's POV:

"Corporal, truth or dare?" Hanji asked me in an excited tone. I sighed, "Either way I'm screwed so.... I'll go with dare." Everyone stared at me with shock. Hanji smiled devilishly. Instead of announcing her dare out loud she leaned in and cuffed her hand around my ear and whispered the dare. "I dare you to play fuck, marry, kill with the three girls I give you. Your options are Sasha, Mikasa, and N, and you can't say what you are doing. You just have to stand up and for kill you slit the person's neck with your hand. For fuck you whistle at them seductively, and for marry you kiss that person." She leaned back laughing at her cleverness. I signal her to come back, "Can I kill two of them and let's just assume I fuck the one I'm married to?" I asked as I stared her down, while she looked at me shocked. "Fine, but you must do both actions to that person." When she said that I got up, "Fine, I'll do it." Everyone watched as I walked over to Sasha. I quickly placed my hand on her neck and made a swiping motion indicating that I was slicing her neck. "What the..." Sasha trailed of as I walked to Mikasa and did the same thing. I don't think Mikasa likes me very much, 'I did beat the shit out of her brother in the middle of court.' I thought to myself as I walked to the last girl.... N. I froze for a second.

"What? Are you going to fake kill me too?" N snickered as she glanced up at me. 'Now or never,' I thought, 'I'm not letting this chance slip away.' *Whistles seductively in a cocky pose* Before she could react I pressed my lips against her surprisingly soft ones. After a few seconds I pulled away, even though I didn't want to. To be honest I could have stayed like that forever, but then I realized everyone was staring at us in shock. Even N had a dumbfounded expression on her face. Before anyone could say anything I declared "Dare complete," and sat back down. After a moment of silence for everyone to recover Hanji continued the game asking the same question to everyone. A few minutes later it was N's turn, "N, truth or dare?" Hanji asked in her same cheery expression. "Truth," she answered back quietly. "Hmmmmm..... When was your first kiss and who was it with?" Hanji asked her as everyone, including myself turned to N for her answer. "Well...... My first kiss was about five minutes ago with the Corporal. Does that answer the truth?" N answered in a bit of a mute tone. I was utterly surprised, "Wait.... How the hell have you never kissed anyone before? Have you ever dated anyone before?"

I don't know why I asked, I guess I was curious. "No, I prefer not to talk about that stuff." She stated with her head down. A short time after that it was time for bed for the trainees. By the time everyone cleared out it was just N and I left. "Hey, I apologize for stealing your first kiss and I'm sorry I asked that, I was just shocked at your answer. I would think a girl such as yourself would have boys bowing down at her feet, just begging to get lucky and get something sweet from you." I felt like I had to apologize for what happened and all, but I also thought I would try to complement her. N chuckled, "You think so, well I guess everyone has their opinions but truth be told, I didn't really mind. I mean it wasn't bad or nothing like that and the whistle thing had me laughing so hard on the inside. Come on, do it again." I didn't know how to respond, 'She didn't mind' 'It wasn't bad', her words were making my heart beat faster than ever before. I simply whistled the same way I did before and she burst out laughing. "Ha, I love it! It's so funny. Well, I'm going to my dorm. See you in the morning Corporal." Before she turned to go she pecked me on the cheek. "What? It's a friendly thing!" She smiled as she left leaving me in a dark shade of crimson. 'Damn her' I thought as I sat back down. "What am I going to do with you N?" I asked myself as I sat there thinking. Suddenly I hear someone at the door, I turn to see Hanji.

"You're still here Corporal........ Why are you red?" She asked with a smile on her face. I banged my head on the table in an attempt to hide my face. Damn it, she saw my face. Hanji took a seat in the chair next to me, "Corporal are you okay? You haven't been acting the same since N came to stay with us." I paused for a moment then I brought my head up, "Hanji if I tell you this you can't tell anyone." True, Hanji is notorious for being a gossip girl, but she was one of my closest friends. "Wow you must be serious, yeah I promise." She respond in a more caring tone. After a moment of silence I finally blurted out, "I love her....... I love everything about her. She is sarcastic, witty, yet very caring. Not to mention that she is utterly beautiful. I fell in love with N the moment I met her." I covered my mouth, I can't believe I just said all of that. Hanji smiled, "I knew it, that's why I gave you that dare. You should confess to her as soon as possible." She stated cheerfully. "I don't want to mess stuff up between us, I would rather be her best friend than someone who lost the person he loved due to his own selfish antics." As I said that I got up and headed for the door. Before I left I turned around, "Remember Hanji, if you break your promise I will severely punish you." "I know Corporal, I won't say a word." She sounded happy in a way. With that I left the dinning hall and headed for my dorm.
