(This story is not based on any true facts except for the CIPA and those who have this illness I pray some day they find a cure for them)
You had been tired both physically and mentally because your exboyfriend had been beating you for the last 4 months, you fought back the best you could legally and physically but all failed to keep him from hurting you, no matter what you did nothing worked and so you did the best to put up with it till you could do something to stop him. But today Chris Redfield notice you had gotten worse, you were pale and had lost more weight then you should have or needed to and without your knowledge he saw some of the bruises and cuts you had, even though you did your best to make sure no one saw especially at HQ. He pulled you aside to ask you to follow him cause he needed to talk with you in private about something important. You didn't questioned it cause you were so out of it your senses were off that you didn't think about it. He had you stop at a door you hadn't recognized and it wasn't marked either. He opened it and jestered for you to go in, but you started to worry and backed away but then he grabbed you and forced you in then locked the door behind you. The lights got brighter in the room and you saw Rebecca, Leon and a bed in the room with testing equipment around it but before you could reacted Leon shot you with a mild tranquilizer and you fell in Chris's arms and lost congestion.
You woke up strapped in the bed with a hospital gown on and you tried to break free but you were still to weak from everything to get out, but Rebecca and the guys came in to talk with you about what was going on with you and why you had broken bones, fractures, cuts and bruises? You didn't say anything and just closed your eyes as you laid back on the bed and just ignored them. But Chris came over and grabbed your hand gentle but you jerked away as a reflex and that's when Chris figured out that you had been beaten or worse (Rebecca had ran test while you were out and told the guys she was 95% sure that your injuries were cause by fighting or abuse but didn't want to jump to conclusion until they had talked with you first) So Chris asked you who did this to you? You kept your eyes closed and didn't listen. Chris grabbed your hand again and didn't let go, that made you open your eyes to look at him and the others. You looked down away from their faces cause you didn't want to be weak or afraid in front of them, but you began to loose the strength to hold it in, all of a sudden you felt your restraints loosen off your arms, legs and torso which made you look up to see Chris have a look on his face which you had never seen before in the 6yrs you've known him(even Leon and Rebecca were shocked but not completely considering they both knew how much you meant to Chris) He didn't like the thought that someone was hurting you, abusing you, especially since he knew you could take down anyone who tried to hurt you or your friends, so he didn't understand how this could be happening to you. He had the look of fear, anger and worry all rolled in to one on his face as he asked again what had happened to you and who did this to you?..
You closed your eyes, took a deep breath and started to explain what had been happening and why. Your Exboyfriend was very Egoistical and self absorbed but also had a rare disease called CIPA (which kept him from feeling pain or injuries or anything) he had been in so many fight thru out his life that he didn't know what else to do and when you 2 had met and want to have a relationship, he promised he would give it up and get a job just for you. Part of you believed him(and part didn't) until you followed him one day and realized he had lied, so you broke up with him then moved out of your apartment (you both lived in the same apartment complex) so he wouldn't be able to find you. But unfortunately he didover and over again... but anyway as you explained that you had fought him before and had been running from him and tried everything to keep him away none of it worked. You started to cry a little and shake but Chris, Leon and Rebecca all hugged you to help calm you down and comfort you. Chris got up and asked what his name was, you told him it was Nathan Lamont and that he was hiding out with a friend in the city. His eye were filled with anger and hate, so you grabbed his wrist to calm him down and told him not to worry and to just forget it, that no one could stop him or keep him away, and that you'll just have to do your best to keep up your defensive skills to keep him from hurting you. Rebecca told everyone to leave so you could rest and heal, she then gave you some medicine to help you sleep and Chris had Piers Nivens stand outside the door to make sure you were safe. He was walking away when Leon stopped him and told him not to go do something stupid (which was to beat the crap out of Nathan for hurting you) Chris just pushed Leon and kept walking, Leon then grabbed him once more and pushed him into a wall and told him to stand down, then Chris pushed Leon off and told him to back off, that it was none of his business what he was going to do. Leon stepped in front of him and told him that you said for him to not go after Nathan and reminded him that the guy can't feel anything and that it would do no good to go beat up the guy for revenge or to teach him a lesson. Chris got angry and hit the wall letting out a heavy sigh then told Leon that it didn't matter what happen to himself as long as you were safe, he couldn't let this continue to happen, he couldn't bare to see you slow die from the injuries and from the lack of sleep. His eyes filled with tears as he leaned his head against the wall then Leon touched his shoulder and told him that he understood and he would help teach that guy a lesson too, but that there is nothing either of them could do. Leon patted his back and walked away, Chris stood there think, trying to figure out how he could help you, protect you and when he thought there was nothing he could then it hit him, he ran to Rebecca's lab and asked her if she could make some kind of drug that could maybe give Nathan some feeling for a short while? Rebecca looked into the disease and remember a friend of hers had been studying the disease for 10yrs and had some success with an experimental drug that had been having some good reports. She called him up and asked for a few sample for her to study and test. He was reluctant at first but eventually gave in and sent it to her as fast as possible(which made Chris a little more relieved). It took 2 days for it to reach the lab and Rebecca called Chris to her lab, he came running and she explained that there's no way to know for sure that it will work on him or what his reaction to it will be? Chris thought on it and told her that she should come with him to see how it affects Nathan. She tried to talk him out of this, but in the end she knew it would be better to go with him then to try and stop him(especially since she knew he would just steal the drug and go alone) she gathered the stuff she needed for the encounter. They left immediately to find Nathan, they talked with everyone till they found his friend and asked where he was hiding, he told he was in an old barn in an abandoned farm behind his house covered by a small forest of trees. They got there as fast as possible and found him there in time before he had left to go to a fight. Chris had Rebecca load a syringe of the drug and he hid it in his hand, then walked up to Nathan and told him to back off and to stop hurting you. He told him to leave and never come back and to never contact you or else he would make him. Nathan just laughed at him and told him to leave before he got hurt and as he turned away from Chris that when he stuck the needle in him and injected the drug then pull away before Nathan could react. Chris gave Rebecca the empty needle and got into a fighting stance ready to take on Nathan. Nathan turned then laughed at Chris and took his fighting stance as well, he was cocky and arrogant that he knew he would win(or so he thought). The drug started work immediately and it put him off a little but he shook it off and went to attack Chris but Chris moved and stuck him in the face. He went down with shocked look on his face then he got up and tried again but Chris was faster and a better fighter then Nathan but Nathan wouldn't give up. They fought for hours till Chris broke his arm and he screamed then went down, he couldn't figure out why he was feel pain. For the first time he was afraid, afraid of everything and everyone. He coward in fear away from Chris who was about to attack again until he heard a voice he did not expect to hear...it was your voice, Rebecca had told Leon what they were going to do and to bring you if they weren't back in an hour.(it took Leon a while to find the place but eventually did) You ran to Chris and told him to forget it and leave him be, that he wasn't worth the trouble. Rebecca tended Nathan's arm then Leon arrested him and made sure this time he stayed in jail with no chance of bail or chance of a reduced sentence. (When you couldn't get a court to believe you)but Leon pulled a few strings and made every charge stick. Finally you could relax and live in peace with out having to worry about being beaten and abused again by Nathan Lamont, all thanks to your friends.
(I know this isn't great and i know this disease is real. I mean no offense to anyone who has this disease. In fact I do pray that some day they do find a cure for those who have it)
