So those of you have read through the story will have no doubt noticed the alt-country soundtrack. I aimed to have a different artist for each part, and when I could, I tried to make the songs match the parts, musically, lyrically, or both.

Now, I ain't one to allow for last minute calamities, so I ended up setting aside way more songs than I had actual parts in the end, so if you enjoyed the soundtrack so far, here are the tracks that never made it:

Ane Brun - All My Tears

Bill Barwick - Ridin' Down The Canyon

Black Eyed Vermillion - Worst Of Times

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Beat the Devil's Tattoo

Blackberry Smoke - One Horse Town (Leave a Scar)

Brothers Dege - The Black Sea

Cut One - Nowhere You Belong

Dean Martin - My Rifle, My Pony and Me

Doc and Merle Watson - Bright Sunny South

Dwight Yoakam - Guitars, Cadillacs

Filthy Still - Question The Answer

Goodnight, Texas - The Railroad

Graveyard Train - Ballad for Beelzebub

Israel Nash - Rain Plans

JD and The Straight Shot - Better Find A Church

Jerry Jeff Walker - Desperados Waiting For a Train

John Fogerty - The Old Man Down The Road

John Hiatt - Mile High

Legendary Shack Shakers - Blood on the Blue Grass

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man

Marty Robbins - Big Iron

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Jesus' Chariot (She'll Be Coming Round The Mountain)

Nick Nolan - Hang 'em High

Parker Millsap - Old Time Religion

Pure Prairie League - Amie

Strawfoot – Wayfaring Stranger

The Coffinshakers - From Here To Hell

The Decemberists - The Mariner's Revenge Song

The Devil Makes Three - Old Number 7

The Hackensaw Boys - Gypsy

The Hat - The Angry River

The Highwaymen - Highwayman

Additionally, if you like what you hear, I recommend pretty much anything by Hank Williams and Hayes Carll.

Stay tuned for the actual soundtrack, 'cause I'll be posting the songs used, in order, up next.
