There was a small knock at my door and i expected it to be Chris, i walked down stairs with my swim bag on my bag and opened the door
"Hey Rick, mind if me and Devin tag along with you and Chris?" Josh asked
"That's fine but Chris hasn't come back here yet" i said stepping out of the way of the door and letting the guys come in
"I'll text him now" i said and pulled out my phone 'Hey! Devin and Josh are tagging along with us, when will you be here?:) xx' i sent it off and offered the guys a drink whilst we waited
"No thanks dude we're good" Josh smiled at me and i nodded
"So who's idea was it to go to the lake?" Devin asked
"Well i asked if there was one near by yesterday but it was Chris' idea to go today" i replied
"Ahh well its a nice day for it" Devin smiled looking at the sun through the window but before i could respond there was a knock at the door
"That is probably Chris" i said and got up from my seat on the chair to answer
"Hey" he smiled and pecked me on the lips
"Hi, you ready?" i asked
"Yeah, shall we go?" he asked
"Did you get my text?" i asked and he looked confused so he pulled out his phone
"Oh, yeah i did, where are they?" he asked
"Josh, Devin, let's go" i smiled and ran out the door waiting for them to come out
"On our way" Josh said and came out the door as well, holding Devin's hand
"Ahh isn't that a cute display of affection" i smirked and Josh hit my arm
"Could've said the same for when Chris kissed you" he snickered and poked his tongue out, I chuckled and poked mine out too making everyone laugh.
We walked down the street to the lake but I was the one leading the group and I had no idea where I was going so I walked a little bit slower and just held Chris' hand. We walked for about five minuted and came to a little forest where I could hear running water
"Its gonna be cold" I whined and Chris smiled
"No this time of year its all right" he said and kissed the top of my head, when we walked past the gate we could hear shouting and I looked puzzled at Chris, he listened then smiled
"I hear Ang and I think he threw someone in the lake" Chris chuckled
"Agreed" Devin said and we walked deeper into the forest
"You fucking twat face" a girl yelled, we walked round the corner and saw Angelo, Ryan, Libby and Nikki however Nikki and Libby where in the water and Ryan and Angelo were holding their stomachs from laughing so much
"Hey guys, Angelo got me wet" Nikki giggled and Angelo stopped laughing and went red
"Yeah that shut you up" she smiled
"Well come on then, let's get in" Chris said and removed his shirt and sandals before jumping in, I did the same and ran in after him before jumping on his back and making him fall over into the water
"Come on boys, jump in" I smiled whilst Chris held me over his shoulders
"I'm going on the swing!" Angelo said and ran off to get the rope swing at the top of the hill
"Do a canon ball!" Nikki shouted
"Will do!" Angelo shouted, we all saw him at the top of the hill and he untied the swing from the branch it was wrapped around
"Clear out the way" Angelo shouted and everyone swam away to give him room
"Canon ball!" Angelo shouted as he jumped off the hill and swung into the water, letting go of the swing before he landed
"Well done" Nikki smiled throwing water on Angelo once he came back up for air
"Right! that's it! WATER FIGHT!!!" Angelo shouted and everyone started splashing water absolutely everywhere. We all began laughing hysterically when we saw a dog run into the water
"Oh hell no. Get that dog away from me" Libby laughed jumping onto Ryan's back
"Its not gonna bite" Ryan reassured her
"And how in the bloody hells world do you know that?" Libby asked
"Because its my next door neighbours dog" Ryan laughed sticking his tongue out
"Is that an invitation?" Libby asked and Ryan's mouth dropped open in shock
"Hey isnt there a carnival in town?" I asked
"Yeah! Oh my god we should go because cotton candy" Devin smiles excitedly
"That sounds great!" Josh added
"Well we can go tonight" Chris said
"And you can all stay over our house, we can have a movie night after but no god damn frickle frackle" Nikki warned and we all burst out into laughter again
