Kaycee places all of her bags on her bed and lets out a long sigh. She looked around the empty bedroom and smiled already thinking of ways to decorate her new bedroom. She knew where exactly her bed was going to go and what pictures were going on what wall. She knew what color she was going to ask her dad to paint her walls and she was already planning on when she would go to the store to get new furniture for her bedroom.

This was second time she moved. She lived in California for most of her life until she turned thirteen years old when her dad got a job offer somewhere in Seattle and her entire family moved there for three years until her dad made her family move back to California. As much as she misses all of her friends that she made in Seattle but she definitely missed her friends in California a bit more.

Bailey Sok and Ken SanJose.

Gabe DeGuzman and Josh Price.

Julian DeGuzman and Nat Bebko.

Tahani Anderson and Tati Mcquay.

Will Simmons and Sean Lew.

She hasn't seen her best friend, Sean Lew in three years since she moved to Seattle and she was too excited to go find him in Imma Space dancing his heart out like he always did. Dancing was his home as well as for Kaycee but a small part of their home faded away when Kaycee left because they always danced together in the duo dances. There was always a small part in their hearts that was missing when they didn't see each other everyday like they always did if it was to go to the dance studio or go to each other's house.

"Oh, Sean." Kaycee whispered sadly and frowned. She lost three years with him and that makes her sad because he was her closets friend and vice versa and during those three years they only called each other a few times because of school being their top priority.

There was a knock on Kaycee's bedroom door that made her jump out of her thoughts. Her dad stared at her with a bright smile on his face and she couldn't help but smile back at her dad no matter how frustrated she is with the whole moving thing and everything. She just hopes that this will be the last time she will have to move to a different state because it hurts her to be attached to people that she will have to leave sooner or later.

"It is almost seven, sweetie."

"And?" She asked bewildered by his sudden question.

He looks at her amused. "Don't you have dance class today?" Her eyes widened as well as her smile as she jumped up and kissed her father's cheek before running out of her room and running down the stairs heading to the garage.

She rushes up to the red Jeep after grabbing the keys and jumping into the car almost hitting her head against the top of the car. It would not be the first time she had done that since she has gotten her license.

I am back, baby.

Walking up to Jojo's class like the good old days made her want to cry. The studio has changed a lot from the three years she has been away. Seeing all of her friends from afar all happy and laughing without a care in the world made her feel as if she was not missed by any one of her friends even though she was so wrong.

She felt a tap on her shoulder. "Excuse me? Are you one of my new students?"

"I could be." Kaycee turned around with a small smile on her face and met with JoJo for the first time in three years. She looked the same to her just a bit taller while for JoJo Kaycee changed a lot. And in a good way. "It is nice to see you again."

"Kaycee. Kaycee Rice." JoJo shook her head and brought the brunette into a bone crushing hug. "How long has it been?"

"T-Three years."

"Well your friends have talked about you all of the time," Kaycee couldn't help but feel her heart warm up, "especially Mr. Sean Lew." Kaycee stared at Sean and took in his features.

His eyes were much brighter than what she remembers. His posture was definitely better than when he used to crouch his back down all of the time — it worried her at one point. He had some light brown highlights in his hair but that was probably from the sun rays in the summer. He seemed a tiny bit tanner but that was probably from summer vacation. He basically looked almost exactly like he was three years ago just more perfect.

A sudden urge of confidence boosted into Kaycee out of nowhere and she walked up to the group of her old best friends with her face burned up but her small smile turned wide before she stared down at them and coughed to grab their attention.

"Kaycee?"

"Kaycee Rice?"

"Oh hell yes!" She was bombarded with hugs and questions from every single one of them. All of the questions and the right hugs made her a bit dizzy until she was let go by all of them who had goofy grins on their faces. "When did you come back?"

"Today," Kaycee says, rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hands. "And I am exhausted."

"Looks like it." Josh says.

Kaycee glared at him playfully. "Thank you, idiot."

"I missed you, Kaycee." She looked up at Sean and tried to contain the blush that was rising up in her cheeks when she heard Sean's deep and sexy voice. "We all missed you, Kaycee."

"I missed you all too."

"So tell us," Tahani spoke up, "how was Seattle?"

"It was fun," she smiled and sat on the ground right next Sean's stuff. "There were so many nice people there that I have met especially in school."

"Oh, really?" Sean asks, sitting next to her. "Tell us more if you want."

She got comfortable by resting her head on Sean's shoulder as they all sat in a circle around Kaycee and listened to her tell her stories and same for her when they told her stories about what has been going when she was away.
