《Present》

"In history, there were groups that were created with the goal of defending humanity against the threat of Honkai. One of those organizations was the Schicksal, which had its roots deeply in the Catholic church. They were the ones who were in charge of fighting on the frontlines, as well as the ones known for starting the Valkyrie Project, which had soon become the pioneer into humanity's hope of survival. It's current leader is Bishop Otto Apocalypse, whose hands could mobilize half of the Schicksal's forces with a single word. Of course, there were many who were not comfortable with his blanketing hold over the organization and those that dissented against the futile resistance that the organization has been doing without significant progress to exterminate the Honkai from the planet.

"Enter Anti-Entropy, a group that splintered away from Schicksal in 1955. It's aim is to minimize the damage to humanity by accelerating the Honkai phenomenon, which seems quite incredulous at first glance since doing so would only bring more damage to civilization as we know it--"

Noah instinctively ducked under what was seemed to be a crumpled ball of paper tossed near his head. Following it's arc, it landed on Mei's table beside the boy's, and a quick glance from its source informed him that it was Kiana who had thrown the crumpled note. He frowned.

The Valkyries were in class that day, and so they were dressed in their uniforms. There was a special rule with regards to St. Freya uniforms: the students were allowed to redesign them almost however they wanted. Noah, perhaps not having any interest in doing that, left his uniform untailored: a grey military blazer, black cargo pants, and combat boots. In contrast, most of the girls' outfits were stylized. Kiana had her blazer dyed white and cut short and wore grey shorts over a layer of black. Mei's was a brown over red theme, seemingly looking like a skirt due to the length of the coat and the shorts, and wore tall boots.

And Bronya was somewhere at the back, in her navy blue blazer and skirt, though the rest of her skin was covered in metal reinforcements.

"Sorry," the Kaslana mouthed, then she looked past him to see how her friend would react.

Noah felt a flat piece of paper zoom past his eyes again, clipping a lock of his hair, and hit Kiana squarely in the forehead. The paper's victim grunted at the pain, but stifled it. She didn't want to be caught by Miss Frideswide. Kiana read the paper smiled, then quickly wrote something and sent it off by turning it into a paper airplane.

"Noah, can you get that?"

The plane was then caught between a pair of Noah's fingers.

Miss Fridesweid turned around from writing on the whiteboard. "Could you please send that over to me, along with Miss Kaslana and Raiden after class?" She asked the boy.

"Yes ma'am," Noah replied.

He then felt a glare from Kiana and heard Mei sigh. The boy simply went back to taking notes, completely oblivious.

"It really was true that he didn't have any tact..."

"Aren't those the 'Lightning Empress' and the 'Idiotic Princess'?"

"He must be happy to be walking with two beauties. Wait didn't he just transfer into their dorm?"

Noah yawned.
