Okay, I am slowly getting back into writing. I still feel very sick and weak, but I had my first day of classes today and made it through (barely, but I did it). Now I am trying very hard not to let my evening be crappy SO I am starting a brand new series based on Far From Home.

And chapter two of Violet Hour will be up once I can focus enough to attempt to watch Venom and write at the same time. My brain has not been with it since I had the stomach flu.

Going to Europe for a few weeks was a dream come true already, but getting to go with your best friends, Ned and Peter - that was the best possible thing that could ever happen to you.

You were shaking with excitement at the airport. While travel in the plane itself made you a little nauseous, the feeling of going somewhere new brought butterflies of happiness into your gut. You clutched your ticket and passport tightly, your shoes and the last bag (your small purse) making it through bag check finally.

"Thank you," you said to the man pushing the tray of your belongings out.

He gave a curt nod and you grabbed your shoes and bag and hurried off to the corner of the huge room, where Ned and Peter were waiting.

"Finally," Ned said, letting you put a hand on his shoulder so you could slip your shoe on. "Thought you'd never get out of there."

"I know," you huffed. Shoes finally on, you slid your backpack-purse straps on your shoulders. "So we ready?"

"Yup," Ned said.

"Everyone got their passport? Boarding ticket?" you asked, looking between the two boys.

"Yup and yup," Ned said, grinning and nodding, but Peter was looking off at bag check. At Michelle.

"Uh, Pete? Hello." You poked his arm and he looked at you, giving you a dirty look. "What's your problem?"

Your tone was light and joking, and Peter just got this line in between his eyebrows as he furrowed them and shook his head.

"Let's just go," he said. "They'll be calling us to board pretty soon." He didn't sound harsh, but he sounded annoyed. With you.

You blinked in shock and hurt, wondering where your smiling best friend from ten minutes ago had gone.

Peter lead the way, and you trailed behind with Ned slightly in front of you. You reached out and grabbed his wrist, gaining his attention and making him pause so you could whisper in his ear.

"Is Peter mad at me?"

"I don't think so," he said, looking confused.

You nodded. "But you saw that, right? You saw how he snapped at me?"

Ned paused, then nodded. "I'm sure it's just stress, you know? Leaving New York after everything that happened... all the Spidey stuff going on..."

You nodded along with him. "I guess you're right."

"Relax, okay? This is still our vacation. All three of us get to do something together other than watch movies on Peter's couch!"

You smiled. "You're right. Sorry."

"No need to apologize. Come on, take a picture with me in front of the sign that has our flight name!"

Finally in Europe, everyone settled into where they were staying. Peter and Ned were rooming together, and you were rooming with Betty. She was okay, she wasn't really your closest friend, but she was sweet.
