Chapitre 16 - Inconscient

Daegu | 2018 

GAKU's big campaign will launch in days. They spend most of the times at the office. The bosses are mostly at the office taking care of approvals. The creative team mostly on shooting location. This Saturday they will launch the product at Gyeonggi-do, at GAKU's showroom. Next week, they will fly to Daegu to launch the pop-up store as well.

GAKU become the talk of the talk in Seoul, as the brand collaborates with top artists like IU, Zico, Crush, and Heize. Chaeyoung's strategy works as their video ads has been watched over 2 million people for each video, the song also starts really good at the chart even though it's a commercial song. People sing it over and over because it got a catchy melody.

As for this event in Daegu, Zico will perform himself at the mall. All the GAKU's dedicated team from ADjective are all going to Daegu.

"Ah, my favorite team! Mina, long time no see" Mina then bow down to Yugyeom immediately.

Minseo could only stay at the back. She's too proud to see her sister.

They got to stay at the hotel together. Mina shares a room with Eunsoo, all the bosses got their own room. They will prepare the event one day before and will be back to Seoul the day after. It's the first time Mina got a chance to visit Daegu, her mother's hometown. Mina and Woojin are busy doing all the cue cards with the event team. The other is supervising the media content. Tzuyu is busy accompanying media that come. Chaeyoung is on the FOH making sure all of this work perfectly. They transform into an event organizer since GAKU wanted ADjective to make sure that their brands show up even though the Zico is the highlight of the event.

The event is awesome, all the people fill the atrium so quickly, visitors are experiencing their product as well with the pop-up store. Chaeyoung's idea to bring back the mini apartment from GAKU's showroom to the mall. And it's succeed. At the very end, Seungmin says that the event creates a big buzz and make a trending topic on major sites. It's a rare case since the event held outside Seoul. 

Once again, Chaeyoung's strategy meets Tzuyu's media plan, and Mingyu's relations with the client, always work every time.

At night, the celebrated the success with drinks, of course. They head to the hotel's lounge. ADjective team, Tzuyu, Mingyu, Chaeyoung, Eunsoo, Woojin, Yeojin, Seungmin, Mina and GAKU's team Yugyeom, Minseo, and another 3.

For some reason, Chaeyoung who didn't like to drink with a big group decided to join the party. The past 2 days Chaeyoung witness how Yugyeom behave towards Mina. Try his best to get close to the girl. She supposed not to care about that, at all. But she can't let the feeling go. Yugyeom knew Mina first than Chaeyoung. And as far as she knew, Yugyeom is still a decent man, but still she can't let this go, she doesn't know why. And this long table, Chaeyoung sit at the edge, while looking at Yugyeom who always steal Mina's alcohol because he didn't want her drunk. What a nobleman. 

Still, a decent and a nice human being.

The only thing Yugyeom's not being nice is to Chaeyoung.

It's like a race between Chaeyoung and Yugyeom as they take too much drink. Chaeyoung can't sit still, she starts to put her head to the table. She does that when she's drunk, just sit at the corner and put her head cause it's spinning.

"Mr. Kim, stop drinking" Mina whispered on Yugyeom's ear.

"YA, MINA-SSI, Why are you keep calling me Mister Mister and Mister, while you always calling me Oppa, hem? Why?" When Yugyeom drunk, he become opposite to Chaeyoung. He's loud.

"Ya, everyone, I know Mina since, 3 years ago right? Or 4 Mina-ssi?" Yugyeom said to all of them while standing"

"We used to live in the same neighborhood. She might be cold outside but she's a heartwarming person" Yugyeom smile to Mina, he is way too drunk.
