We walked home and I went straight to bed.

I was way too exhausted.

Zack said goodnight before heading into his room, too.

I sighed and flopped into bed, covering my face with the covers.

Dammit, my mood swings have been horrible lately. What the hells the matter with me?

I was questioning myself for at least 20 minutes before I started to get sleepy.

I silently dozed off, just before I could fall asleep, Zack popped into my mind.

I smiled a bit and let sleep take over.

It's funny to me how thinking about a single person could clear your mind to a point of where nothing can bother you.

How that one person can slowly make your life better without you even noticing.

I find that kinda funny.

How love can make you blind.

One person can make everyone else feel insignificant.

One person can keep the nightmares away.

I love that.

The next morning I was feeling much better, more like myself.

You could say that having a decent nights sleep fixed me.

But I guess you could also say that that fixes everyone.

I wouldn't know.

Zack, however, did not look like he had a good nights rest.

In fact, he looked like a mess.

He grumbled something that sounded like good morning, the he grabbed a soda and went back upstairs.

I raised an eyebrow and made myself some breakfast, and sat down on the couch.

I flipped through the channels until I stumbled across The Office.

I ate my breakfast and went to my room to get ready for the day.

As I walked past Zack's room, I could hear him talking to himself.

"Dammit, I can't even look her in the eye. I know I fucked up so why can't I talk to her? I already apologized but I still feel fucking horrible!" He was questioning himself?

I couldn't help but giggle a bit.

Which, I guess he heard because he went quiet.

I knocked lightly on his door before I entered.

"Zack, are you in here arguing with yourself?" I asked.

"N-no! Get out!" He said, clearly embarrassed.

I laughed and walked out of his room, making sure to leave his door open on purpose.

"DAMMIT CLOSE MY DOOR YOU BITCH!" He yelled.

I ran into my room and closed the door behind me.

I took a shower and dried myself off with a towel.

I brushed my hair and teeth then picked out an outfit.

I decided on ripped jeans and a white crop top t-shirt.

I sighed and made my way downstairs.

As I walked past the kitchen, I spotted Zack.

"Perfect! Just who I was looking for. I'll be gone until 9 tonight so you'll have to make dinner for yourself." I told him.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To my friends. We made plans for the night." I said.

"Which friend?" He asked suspiciously.

"Jason." I answered.

"A guy?" He sounded almost annoyed.

"Yeah? Why?" I questioned.

"Do you fucking like him?" He asked.

"What's with all the questions?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Just answer the damn question." He said rudely.

"Fine. Yes, I like him." I admitted.

His eyes widened a bit and he grabbed his scythe.

"I'm fucking coming with you." He said.

"What?! No! You're not! Stay here!" I yelled.

"No! You can't stop me. I already made up my damn mind."

"Why do you need to come with?!" I asked, grabbing his arm.

He spun around and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Because I don't want what happened last time to happen again." He spat.

My eyes widened and I took a step back, letting his arm go.

Something flashed through his eyes before he grabbed my hand and pulled me outside.

"What way do we go?" He asked.

My eyes were focused on our hands as I answered.

"Left." I said.

We eventually made it to Jason's house and I walked through the front door without knocking.

Zack followed closely behind me.

"Jason! I'm here!" I yelled.

"(Y/N)! I'll be there in a minute!" He yelled from upstairs.

"I already hate his fucking guts." Zack muttered.

I slapped his arm and he looked down at me.

"Be nice. And also, let go of my hand." I tried to pull my hand away but his iron grip never faltered.

"No." He answered simply.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

Jason walked into the room and his eyes instantly jumped to our hands.

He was quietly staring for a second before Zack broke the silence.

"Got a problem, asshole?" He asked.

"Are you two together?" Jason asked.

A blush crept onto my cheeks.

"Yeah. We are." Zack pulled me closer to him and I stared at his face in disbelief.

This asshole just ruined my chances with Jason! And why am I not correcting him?!

I stayed silent as a million thoughts raced through my mind.

"Actually, I can't go tonight, sorry to cancel so suddenly." Jason said.

"What? But we made these plans weeks ago." I said.

"That's fine. Let's go." Zack pulled me along with him.

"Zack! Wait!" I yelled.

"Jason! Text me, alright?" I called after Jason.

He nodded and walked out of view.

Once we were a ways down the road, I stopped Zack.

"What the fuck was that?"
