"Well Martin, everything looks like it is in order and as it should be. Thanks again for taking care of our home while we were away for longer than we anticipated"

"Pleasure is all mine sir" Martin was contemplating whether or not he should tell Elliot's father (Bennett Davis) about Angelo. He wasn't entirely sure how he would take the news. He was hopeful that he would be delighted that his son was finally able to speak with someone else and act friendly towards another human being after all that has happened to him.

But there are times that Martin does not agree with Bennett's ways. Since Martin has worked for this family even before Elliot was born, he looks at Elliot as if he was his own son. He has always wanted children but could never find the time to settle down and start a family of his own. That was mainly the reason why he got this job in the first place.

Anyhow, Bennett can be uptight and tends to place money and finances over family at times. So, there was this lurking fear that telling him about Angelo will backfire in some awful way. Then again, they are family. Sooner or later, he is going to find out about Angelo and Martin figured that it would be best if he would hear it come from him.

"Um, sir? I do not know if this is a good time, nor am I sure if it is appropriate for me to speak of this matter, but there is something that I have been meaning to talk to you about" The nerves were starting to kick in and Martin just hoped that Bennett wouldn't run up to Elliot's room, since he figured that Angelo was still up there visiting.

"Martin, we are family. You can tell me absolutely anything that is on your mind without feeling like you are intruding on matters that does not apply to you" This is it, he thought. After telling him there was no turning back, all Martin could do now was cling onto to the one hope that he has left.

"Well over the past few days Elliot, has been talking to this young man, who appears to be around the same age as him. And let me just tell you sir that he is genuinely happy when he is with him. It is like your son has made a lifelong friend and it is truly heartwarming to watch!"

"Really?......is there any way that I can meet this young man that you speak of? Or is there some sort of video of him caught on the security cameras?"

"........I am not sure sir" The atmosphere in the room felt tense. Martin immediately regretted his decision, but there has to be some way that he can make this right, he just had to think fast. "But I can look around for you if you would just sit there for a moment"

"No need. I can look on my own" He said with a smirk as he walked over to the tech room where all of the security footage is stored. Thankfully the videos that Martin saved have a passcode and are very difficult to go into unless you know what you're doing. So, the identity of Angelo Austin can be protected for a while

This gives him some time to go get Angelo out of here before Bennett gets any weird ideas. The thing is, Martin knew about Angelo the day he met him. It is pretty hard to miss when missing child posters are up everywhere and news about some teens doing drugs and breaking the law gets plastered all around the media.

But even when Martin knew about Angelo, he had a soft spot for him when he met him. There was just something about him that made him want to help him and take him under his wing, but that didn't mean Bennett would. So as soon as he was out of sight, Martin ran over to Elliot's room. When he did, he was surprised to see Angelo and Elliot standing so close to one another, but he brushed those thoughts aside knowing that this was not time to gawk at what was happening in front of him. "Martin what-"

"I'm sorry for interrupting, but Angelo you need to leave right this instant"

"Why? What is going on?" Angelo and Elliot were both very confused. They were sharing a tender, intimate moment and suddenly it is put to an end by none other than Martin. Nothing seemed to make sense and all that the two of them could do was exchange looks of utter confusion
