"'Natural instincts'" Blu scoffs "there's nothing natural about being thrown halfway across the room. Well ill show him. Hmm. I can do this. I just have to work out the physics" Blu was talking to me but mostly to himself since I sat on a book sleepy "I have quadrated my vector angles. I have adjusted for wind shear. Positive reinforcement. Good" Blu closed the book "okay. Lets see. Flaps open" he opened his wings "perfect. Landing gear. Check" he twitched his feet "tail flaps. Operational. And, actually, not bad" he checked himself out

"Will you get on with this Blu so we can go to bed" I groaned as I started to yawn

"This is it. Lets fly. Just keep it simple. Thrust, lift, drag and weight" he kept repeating that as he started to take off but at the end he chickened out making him fall and get tangled in the lights. I fly over to him landing on a light that has him tangled up when Linda came down confused. she then gave us a weak smile

"I promised I would always look out for you two, didnt I?" Blu looked at Linda then just looked at the floor as I watched them "and have I ever broken a promise?" Blu then looked at her and kept his eyes on her "im scared, too, but I wouldnt make yourself do this if it wasn't the right thing to do. What do you say, Blu, Izzy?" Linda held her fist up, I landed on it as Blu looked at her then put his head to her fist. We do the handshake and imitate an explosion again then pets us "thats my big, brave boy and girl" Blu and me climb onto Linda "and we'll be back home before we even know it"

We drove in Tulio's jeep as Blu was scared of his new surroundings I just looked up in amazement "wow" there was so many birds flying around

Linda went and put sun screen on both mine and Blu's beaks as I just wiped mine off right away while Blu didnt mind

Just when Blu was enjoying himself he got started by some masks, they mad me jump and fly behind Blu "whoa!" I heard Tulio speak

"You arrived in time for Carnaval"

"Carnaval?"

"Yes. It's the biggest party in the world. You know, a time to have fun and dance" Tulio started to imitate a drum rhythm making Linda laugh

"Oh, my. Is she a performer?"

"No. In fact, she's my dentist" Tulio honked his  car horn "Dr. Barbosa!"

"Oy! Don't forget to floss, Tulio" she laughed then walked away

"You got it!" He laughed then sat back down "come tomorrow night, everyone will be dressed like that"

Linda just chuckled and denied that she wasnt going to

Me and Blu started to hear singing. Blu poked his head out and looked while I just looked at the top of the cage where the music was coming from "oba, la, la, la, ya. E, e, ei!" There was a yellow cannery that flew down as he spoke "E aí? Tudo bom?" His friend following him

Blu looked panicked "oh. Um, oh, right" he pulled out a Brazil translation guide "uh, yeah, aah!" He dropped his book as the two birds watched. I felt like the Cannery was looking at me but shrugged it off "uh... I am not from here" Blu said slowly. I decided to speak up

"Nós não somos daqui. nós somos américan" Blu looked at me shocked as the two birds nod

"Hey, Nico. Their a tourists"

"Funny, you two don't look like one"

"Really? I...i don't?"

"Except you got  pigeon doo-doo on your nose" the red and Grey bird said wiping his nose

Blu pointed to his beak as Nico landed next to me holding his bottle cap "oh, oh, oh, no, this is just SPF 3,000"

the Grey one sat down on Blu's cage while Nico did tricks in front of me "so are you two here for Carnaval?" He looked at me and winked as I just blushed looking away

"Oh, actually, im just here to meet a...a girl" Blu was shy

Nick flapped his wings to fly up "oh, a girl!" He landed next to me tipping his cap to me making me giggle

"Yes"

"Little word of advice; you make the first move" he grabbed me "Brazilian ladies respond to confidence" Nico spun me then dipped me after that tipping his cap again" I blushed more as he let me go and I flied over to Blu

"Oh, right"

"Yeah, its all about swagger. You got to puff out that chest. Mmm!" He puffed up his chest making shake my head chuckling "swing that tail. Eyes narrow. Like some kind of crazy love hawk" he then squawked

"But, first, we got to bust you you out" I was sitting on the cage windows when Nicos friend agreed making me and Blu confused

"Im-a pop that cage open like a soda can" Nico added affect like he actually popped a soda can

Blu tried to stop them but Nico's friend already started attacking the cage which made me fall. I fly back up dizzy as I land back on the cage window

"You call that popping?"

"When. This thing's robust"

Blue started to reassure them but pulled me into a hug "no, no, no. No, guys, really, im fine. The cage is great. Love the cage" I got out of Blu's wing

"You may like it but I don't"

Nick waved "Tá bom. Suit yourself" Nico winked at me before flying off I just cover my face with a wing. Ignoring what Nico's friend said to Blu
