Birdnapping

Awhile after the two stopped fighting. Jewel went to continue her attempt at escaping. Blu and me trying to sleep, but Blu was starting to get aggravated

"Excuse me. Please, we are trying to sleep"

"Im sorry, sleepy-head, im trying to escape" she threw the rock down trying to wiggle through the hole she was making, while trying to pull the bars apart

"Escape? Why? This cage is awesome"

I rolled my eyes "not after awhile Blu"

"This..." She laughs "oh, what was i thinking? I wouldn't expect a pet to understand" then continued trying to escape

"Pet? Did you just call me a pet? For the record, I am not a pet. I am a companion. And you know what? Do whatever you want 'cause tomorrow morning, Linda will come for me and Izzy, and this whole nightmare will be over" he covered himself with a leaf ad I just sighed knowing were this was going

"Incredible! You would rather be with a human than with your own kind" she didn't like how Blu acted

"Well, that human has given me love and affection for the past 15 years, whereas my own kind, tried to strangle me after 15 seconds" going back to his leaf

"I have no clue were my kind even is"

"Yeah, well, because of them, I've lost everything" she had a sad look on her face then went back to anger "you can't trust them"

I heard a door open but I knew Blu didnt as he just kept talking, but I wasnt listening. When he called out to Jewel and she didnt answer he looked forward and saw a kid with a bag "hi, there" Blu living with humans made him to trusting of them

The kid put a bag over us. as I tried to fly away but failed in the process

I hid under Blu's wing, him trying to keep me safe the best he could. Jewel used her beak to tear the hole in the cloth bigger so she could see better

"Okay. There's no place like home. There's no place like home. How I wish I was back in my own cage with my mirror and my swing. And my little bell. How I miss my little bell"

Jewel shushed him "play dead" she then layed on the cages floor on her back, me doing what she said

"What? I don't need to play dead, im about to have a heart attack"

"Just do it"

"Fine" Blu started to make so much noises before falling down and twitching

"Stop twitching"

"Come on, its the twitching that sells it"

"Shh!" Blue stops as we heard knocking noises and a door opening

"Come on in, kid"

"Well, what do you know? Good work, Fernando. You see, boys? What did I tell you about this one?"

"That you were going to pay him half as much as you said?" There was a slap and a groan heard

"No, you idiot. That he remains me of myself when I was that age. Smart, resourceful. Here you go, kid"

"Hey. This is only half of what you promised me" the boy complained

"Ah, shut up, kid" we heard the cloth get pulled off our cage "what the..." We then heard the cage door open "I thought I told you I needed these birds alive" me and Blu opened one of our eyes a tiny bit to see the guy pick Jewel up "tell me, Fernando... Does this look alive to you?"

Jewel opens her eyes and bites the man, making him let go of her and tries to get away "get her!"

"Jewel!" Blu yells as she thinks we are following her. She goes to fly through the air space a white bird grabbed her by her neck but made sure not to choke her

"Hello...pretty bird. Whats the matter?" He leaned in close to her. I hid more into Blu's wing scared of the cockatoo "cockatoo got your throat?"

"Nigel!" The guy yelled to the bird. Nigel looked at him "alive"

"To be continued" Nigel flew down and tossed her into the cage

"That was your plan? To take off and leave us? Gee, thanks" Blu pulled me into him in a protective brotherly way

"Well, why didn't you two follow me?" She asked confused

"Uh..." Blu was nervous to admit he couldn't fly

"I can't just leave Blu behind, he's like my brother"

Nigel flew onto the mans arm "nice work, Nigel"

"Yeah, nice work, Nigel" one of the men repeated making Nigel screech at him, the guy back up

"The last blue macaws on earth, and as a bonus. The last purple canarie on earth as well" he chained Blu and Jewel together, then grabbed another chain, but smaller and clipped it onto my foot connecting it to the blue macaws chain. Making all 3 of us chained up "these are worth a fortune" Jewel tried pulling hers off "hey, Fernando, hang these used in the other room"

The said boy picked up our cage taking is into a different room. It was filled with many, and I mean many different birds, even a bat

"Hey birdie. Let me out! Let me out! Let me out of here!" Blu kept holding me close to him

"Who's a pretty bird? Im a pretty bird. Pretty bird, im a pretty bird. Im a pretty bird" the bird ran in circles saying the same thing

"I was framed. They got the wrong guy"

"Sorry, guys. Nothing personal" Jewel, Blu, and I looked at him with sadness in our eyes but he just walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him

I tried clawing at the cage but it didnt work at all. I sighed as I sat in the corner of the cage as Jewel looked around and Blu looked like he was about to have a panic attack all over again
