Fly love

All of us get blinded by the sudden bright light of the sun to see monkeys coming up to us with smiles on their faces, and not in a good kind of way. I fly down to Blu, landing next to him as he pulls me close in a protective way

The brown one comes up to all three of us grinning "you three are coming with me"

"In your little monkey dreams" Jewel spits at his feet as I nod agreeing with her

"Yeah" Blu tries to do the same thing but fails to do so "that was meant for you" making the monkey chuckle

"Come on. Can we all just get along?" Rafael buts in

"This isn't your fight, big-nose" the monkey goes to smack him but I fly up and grab his hand with my feet stopping him

"You mess with my friends, you mess with me!"

"And us!" All the other birds agree glaring at the monkeys including my group of friends

"Yeah, little king Kong" Pedro speaks up with Nico next to him

We all just glared at each other while a money drums an ominous beat

"I don't know what's going on here" a green bird says then flies off

"Birds versus monkeys!" Pedro shouts causing all of us to attack each other. Me, Jewel, and Blu trying our best to do what we can while chained up

Nico and Pedro shooting small fruits "Yippee-kai-yay, monkey man!"

We pulled our chain on both ends causing a monkey to trip and fall crashing into more monkeys. Jewel bowed, her not seeing the brown monkey attack me and Blu. Jewel pulled the chain making it hit him in the no no spot spitting out some jewels

A little while later into the fight Jewel sees the trolley as we run off to try and catch it, except we stopped since monkeys surrounded us

All of a sudden we hear 'need a lift?' As we get picked up, a monkey grabbed Blu's wing, the other monkeys holding onto each other and grabbing a wire stopping us from getting to the trolley

"Nico!" I'm dangling as I see Nico come up hearing me call him

He sees why I called him and used his bottle cap hat tossing it and hitting the monkey holding Blu, freeing us from the monkeys grip

"Take that, you funky monkey!" Nico tips his cap smiling seeing us free now and on our way to the trolley. Me just barely catching what he said

The flamingo drops us off onto the trolley. Jewel looking back at the bird "thank you!" Blu thanks the bird after looking back as well

"Anytime!"

"Thats what I'm talking about!" Pedro exclaims excitedly

"Man, we threw down!"

"Yeah, we threw down"

I giggle at how Blu and Jewel are acting right now

"You guys were like fire and ice"

"Thunder and lightning!" Me and Nico yell wanting to add in

"Hip and hop!"

"Cheese and sprinkles!" Blu yells suddenly

"Huh?" Pedro looks at Blu weirdly and so do the others

"It's a Minnesota thing" Blu explains but it just makes everyone laugh, even me

"You see? Nothing you say makes any sense"

I sat on the top edge of the trolley on my legs, while Blu and Jewel sat in front of me, I could hear the three behind us

"Psst!" Blu looked behind him then smiled

"Don't worry. I got it" now inching closer towards Jewel after he looked back at her

"There he goes. Thats my boy"

Blu goes to reach his wing around her but fails when she sees his wing making her look at him, which causes him to get nervous

"Is it hot? I think I'm sweating. I didn't even think that was biologically possible, and yet, look" Jewel leans back as he shows her (honestly that part was gross in my opinion like  tmi Blu, tmi)

"Wow"

"Yeah, that's your boy, all right" Nico chuckles

"Okay, so he needs a little help. Come on, lets give hum some. Set the mood"

"All right, look, I'm on it. I know how to set the mood. Check it out

Get a, get a, get a get a girl
Get, get, get get a girl
Take-her, take her to the floor
Show her, show her how you roll
Drop it, drop it, drop it low drop it low,
Drop-drop it low" Pedro starts to sing making me shake my head while smiling

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. What kind of mood is that?"

"Pedro, Pedro, a little too aggressive. I'm not hating on your creativity, but I think I got this one. Follow my lead" Nico started whistling in a sweet melody making me close my eyes enjoying it

"Now that's more like it" Rafael flies up into the trees hitting the branches with the pink petal's down making a beautiful scenery

"Wasn't really thinking
Wasn't looking
Wasn't searching for an answer
In the moonlight"

Nico passed me while singing, he winked which caused me to blush but smile at him as he flew by my two blue friends

"When I saw your face"

I tuned out everyone but Nico's singing since I found it more entertaining. Nick went back next to me as he grabbed my wing twirling me around dancing with me while he sang

"Saw you lookin' at me, saw you peeking out from under moon beams
Through the palm trees
Swayin' in the breeze
I know, I'm feelin' so much more than ever before
And so I'm giving more to you than I though I could do
Don't know how it happened, don't know why, but you don't

Once we finished our small dance he went back to his spot awhile ago continuing the song for the mood

"Made to love each other, made to be together, for a life time
In the sunshine
Flying in the sky
I know I'm feelin' so much more than-"

Pedro nudged him with his wing stopping him from singing more. Rafael, lands next to us as the four of us watch the two "yep, that's my boy"

Nico then mimics a bomb falling and an explosion, causing me to giggle at his actions
