Roman woke up groggily, looking around at the room he was trapped in.
He recognized it as the Armory, and he was in one of their holding cells.
"Well aren't you going to ask where Enzo is?"
Alaric asked from the other side of the glass.
Roman chuckled walking in front of the man with a cold smirk.
"Why would I ask that?"
Roman rose an eyebrow.
"Maybe because you're engaged?"
Alaric asked.
Roman stood silent for a moment staring at the glass.
In one swift move his face was vamped out and he was slamming his hands into the barrier making Alaric jump back.
Roman chuckled as he lazily walked around the cell.
"Each time you've turned my humanity back on you've used Enzo. It's all about Enzo isn't it."
Roman chuckled darkly leaning against the wall as Alaric slowly walked back up to the glass.
"It won't work this time sweetheart."
Roman grinned condescendingly.
Alaric sighed crossing his arms as he stared down the Salvatore.
"You know what you said back in Dallas? You loved me so much?"
Roman chuckled darkly.
"I don't know if you knew this, but I was still in love with you up until Enzo came back."
Alaric's face fell as the boy ranted on.
"How does that make you feel? Knowing that if you weren't such a coward on the other side and you spoke to me we would still be together."
Roman chuckled as the man frowned.
"Aw does that make you upset?"
Roman teased as Alaric's frown turned into a glare.
"What, do you really think we could ever be together?"
Roman laughed.
"This isn't you."
Alaric mumbled shaking his head.
"Isn't it?"
Roman grinned.
"What would Josie and Lizzie think?"
"Why would I give a damn about those kids?"
Roman rose an eyebrow challengingly.
"I don't know, maybe because every night before they go to bed they ask where 'Uncle Roman' is, and they ask why 'Uncle Roman' isn't around. They ask why I look at 'Uncle Roman' the way the people in love on tv look at each other."
Alaric shouted in anger as he watched the Salvatore cross his arms.
"Those kids love you Roman! And you're the only one who understands their powers."
Alaric glared as the Salvatore rolled his eyes.
"I don't care."
Roman chuckled shaking his head.
"You don't care about those two little girls who look up to you more then anyone?"
Roman pretended to think before shaking his head.
"No."
Alaric scoffed shaking his head.
"So who do you care about?"
Alaric asked.
"Enzo, he's so good in bed Alaric. Though I can't remember who's better between the two of you."
Roman grinned as he unnerved the man.
"I mean Enzo has never lied to me, but you did didn't you Ric?"
"Stop trying to change the subject."
Alaric glared.
"I'm just making conversation."
Roman shrugged.
Alaric thought for a moment before raising his eyebrows.
"Lizzie and Josie were crying their eyes out yesterday,"
Alaric took a breath.
"The nanny didn't know what to do so she called me."
Alaric watched as Roman furrowed his eyebrows.
"They wanted you to be there, and when I told them you were busy they were hysterical."
Alaric glared at Roman.
"Those kids love you like another parent,"
Alaric hissed as Roman's face fell.
"Imagine how'd they react if you told them you didn't care about them."
Alaric glared as Roman chuckled.
"This conversation is useless Alaric,"
Roman lazily walked over to the makeshift mattress, jumping onto it.
The Salvatore smirked wickedly as he closed his eyes.
"You can't bring me back this time, tell the kids I'm on vacation."
