She had run until she was completely out of breath, running into an alleyway, leaning against a wall to catch her breath. She had tried to follow the androids footprints that were quickly getting covered by snow. At one point she just began to run, uncaring of whether she was following them or not. She was a deviant. Even more than that she was a human android who had deviated. She was a threat to the state and she knew that if she wanted to live, she would have to hide. But before she began to look for safety she would have to get as far away from the police, the FBI and Connor. The thought saddened her and she wished she had more time to have gotten him to come with her. But he hadn't deviated that far away from his programming to come with her. He struggled against commands to shoot her.

A sudden rattle and a click of a gun alerted her unsafety, flashes of red, her system telling her to run but she couldn't anymore, even if she was half android the other half was human and her android counterparts hadn't compromised much of stamina.

"Who are you?" A voice asks and she knows it the android from the tower. He also had a gun trained at her. She would almost be offended, having helped him and the other android escape, risking her life for theirs and still having a gun pointed at them. She couldn't blame them though. "Why did you help us?" He asks, pressing on but more gently, less frightened and more curious.

"I'm deviant. I want to help the other android who is injured but it's not safe here." She answers, skipping over the minor details of her not exactly being an android, this not being the place to discuss something like that.

"Toby, it's okay." The same blonde android emerges from the shadows, snow coating his jacket and hair, having been too injured to have any more mobility. He needed help and Katya knew she could help him.

"We need to go back to Jericho." He says to the android, Toby. "Jericho is safe, a place for deviants to seek refuge." He says to Katya this time, ensuring her safety in this place called Jericho. She hesitated momentarily. Androids from Jericho must be the ones responsible for the attack. By going to their place of refuge she by default joins the movement for android rights, the deviant movement. She would be actively hunted by Connor and Hank and she wasn't ready to switch sides this quickly, she didn't want to betray them. But she knew she had no choice so she just nodded.

"I'm Simon by the way. Thank you for for-helping us escape." Simon says, uncertainly but he too understands their dire situation of needing to leave and how useful this android could be not only for him to get safely back to Jericho but also for the whole movement. Her knowledge and expertise would surely be valuable knowledge from a detective android. Markus will be glad by the new member.

Hank had left immediately after Katya did, not even waiting for Connor as he pushed past the FBI and Perkins who sneered at him. He would just have to tell them that she ran after the androids and went missing or something. But that wasn't his concern right now. His concern was her and where she would go, how she would get along all this deviancy shit. He needed to think in a way he couldn't think at any bar. He needs isolation and drink and the only place that came to mind when considering this situation.
