So today I was doing my laundry. So I go to get my laundry from the washer to put it in the dryer. As soon as I hear the door click closed I realized I forgot my lanyard which had my room key on it, long story short I watched my clothes drying for 40 min until I could get my door unlocked.
I felt to dum, but like I never Lock my door when I do my laundry and it must have been on lock when I left, either way still felt dum. Luckily my RA was able to unlock it for me or I would have had to wait another hour for my roommate to get back from practice.
Moral of the story is check you have your room key before you do laundry.
But literally this was the first time I have forgotten my room key and needed to have my RA unlock it.
