lesson one: reflection

"so how do you feel right now?" ashlynn asked and i sighed.

both of us were sitting on the couch with a comfortable distance in my apartment, watching disney movies and she started a conversation.

"accomplished." i lie. it wasn't a complete lie, though.

"okay, now the truth." Ashlynn rolled her eyes and i sighed again.

"i feel like hell deleting all our photos and conversations that we shared, like i'm not supposed to."

"what if she still wants me back, ash?"

"what if she wants to patch up?"

"what if-"

"harry. stop." ashlynn cut me off and i calmed down, putting my face in my hands again.

"i know it might be hard right now, but it will get easier. you will be fine. you'll get used to it." ashlynn reassured and i groaned.

"everything is going to be alright, harry." ashlynn comforted and i sighed.

"you promise?" i croaked out, looking up at her childishly.

"yes, harry." ashlynn giggled.

and for a second, i thought that giggle sounded melodic.
