MASQUERADE
I wore white smiles of everyday facade.
I tried to be someone else for charades.
I concealed my scars by placing a mask.
trying unique styles wasn't a easy task.
I could be anything that I wanted to.
But I would do everything to love you.
I would like to change my disguise.
Because I live every second with lies.
I don't have another minute to lose.
To play in this game is what I choose.
I simply wanted was your full attention.
For you to fill up my void with affection.
I don't know why imitating is how I felt,
Being naughty or nice made you melt.
I love to control you like a mind reader.
But I don't wanna be that heartbreaker.
A fantasy I'd weaved for you to drown.
Every moment made myself as a clown.
No matter what I do, you still don't care.
I was stupid to create this foolish dare.
Even your feelings was already gone.
Same along with our days was done.
I still want you to see the real me.
By letting my imperfections to be free.
I hope this delusional madness ended.
No more hiding like true love decided.
I think we should be happy together.
This time I would love you forever.
I'm no longer the girl with mask trades.
You could love me without masquerade.

A/N : Honestly, I dreamed to be someone else for one day and how my life could turn out differently. But for someone I had love, I think need to stop on being someone else because I couldn't make another lie to break the trust. It's kinda fragile you know. Once you break it. It would never come back the way it used to be. In short, I'm somehow related to this poem. :)
