EYES

Right from the start, you were a thief.
I was your hopeless victim of grief.

Because you had stolen away my sanity.
I drown deep in the illusions of fantasy.

Is this a chanted spell or even a curse?
Just one look, I fall into your universe.

I was in cloud nine and felt so euphoric.
No one warned me that you're a toxic.

Your glances are filled with poison.
I was drunk, too late to find a potion.

I not Eve who'd ate the forbidden apple.
This time I must conquer this battle.

I was lost in the dessert of ecstasy,
to search for some answers to be free.

Your lies are spilled all over the floor.
My heart couldn't take this anymore.

There's a smoke constricted in my chest.
Every night I couldn't breathe and rest.

Asleep and wake, you were all I see.
I couldn't escape, I needed to be free.

In those times you trapped me in vain.
I had enough, must break these chains.

You were connected right into my cord.
Your face kept reminding me like a orb.

Memories of you flashed into the glass.
I couldn't easily avoid it as it all clashed.

Is this a dream or even a nightmare?
I only did for you was a helpless stare.

Is this love a magic or even a tragic?
Whenever I got close to you, I felt static.

Baby please bring back what was mine.
Just simply turn the clock and rewind.

Back when there's a sun from the skies.
I could snatch sanity away in your eyes.
