It Was Just A Dream

Inori's POV

"Ahhhhh!" I shouted as I jerked out of bed. Sweat dripped down my face and I felt something wet under my eyes.

'Tears?' I thought as I whiped them away, I then coughed but stopped when my brother Haise came barging in.

"Hiyori what's wrong?!" he questioned I got out of bed to ask him a questioned, but I then fell into his arms.

"*pant* *pant* H-Haise w-what day is it?" I asked him but in a demanding tone. He looked taken back at my question but then answered.

"It's Wednesday Hiyori" he said in a calming voice. "R-Really? Then that means yesterday was Tuesday" I mumbled the last part while looking down at my feet.

I then looked up at Haise and asked "Haise why am at home when I should be at school?"

Haise sighed before answering, "You had a fever and you passed out during P.E.

"So you couldn't go to school today. And since your yelling at me that tells me that you feel better" he explained.

I sighed with relief 'That means it was just a dream and they don't know anything about my mom' I thought as I walked back to my bed.

"Thanks Haise, you can go now."
"Ok. Get some sleep I'll bring dinner to you when it's time for dinner" he said before leaving my room.

"That means that whole day in my dream wasn't real? Well I'm glad that it wasn't."

After I said that I thought about Karma chasing after me and telling Haise telling them that my last name was Takashi.

Thinking of that last name makes my blood boil. That's why I changed my name to Inori Hiyori, I made my first name my last name and I took my mother's name as my first name.

Oh mom I miss you, I wish you were still here with me and Haise.
